It's official: @Bwestfield and I have the absolute pleasure of bringing football to the concrete jungle, New York, New York. I am absolute thrilled to announce the official branding for what has until now been known as Expansion Team Two; everybody please welcome to the league...the New York Silverbacks!

Westy and I both have ties to the state of New York, and believed a team in the area was long overdue, so we are absolutely overjoyed to be able to bring this to life. We want to thank @infinitempg, @KoltClassic, and @SchwarzNarr for their help spitballing ideas and doing the graphics work for this final design, and are extremely excited to finally be sharing our vision with the whole of the league community.

Official team colors will be dark slate gray (#2F4F4F, 47/79/79) and liberty green (#B7E4CF, 183/228/207). @Colabear, your sanity is safe for now. And, of course, for those who want just the ape:
