LeBron James III is a completely different player from the beginning of last season. Being that I am a capped player in the DSFL I am as good as I could be. This means I don’t have to suffer from the beginning stages of throwing interceptions, not making good throws and making mistakes on the field all the time. I personally believe the biggest change from last season is now I have better weapons around me. I have to really elite wide receivers in Mario Messi and Quavious McGrady. They are really good weapons for me to get the ball down the field. I also have a really good tight end in a rookie if he can keep developing towards the end of the season he could be a great addition. I think it’s great to also have an outstanding defense so we can get the ball back and score more points. This year is going to be super interesting to see how well we can do as a team. I think the season will play out much differently than last season. We had our heart broken a lot but now with a complete team I think we have a chance of winning the championship.

Season 25 was Harrison Andrews, and what a rookie season it was. Andrews primary role for his rookie season was nickelback in addition to occasionally rotating in at cornerback to spell the veterans, Cuco Clemente and Xavien Adams. Focusing on run support and picking up the opposing teams TEs or slot WRs in coverage, Andrews was able to rack up enough tackles to land at sixth on the tackle leaderboard for the season, and puts him among the most ever in the ISFL for a rookie.
With the retirement of Xavien Adams and the move from CB to S for Cuco Clemente, Andrews finds himself moving over to the outside CB position. He will have a great deal of pressure this season as he will now be focused on locking down the opposing team’s number one WR week in and week out. Along with the huge change in responsibility on the field, Andrews now has new responsibilities off the field as well. As the veteran of the CB group, he is now the mentor for superstar rookies Peter “Lil Petey” Patterson and Teddy Utterstruzen. The infusion of youth has the secondary looking drastically different in Season 25, but it gives the team an extremely positive outlook in the future. Since it will be his first game professionally, it is safe to say that a lot has changed since Cayson Nzeocha last took the field. In fact, the last time he took the field was in college at the University of California. Yes, California. As in the United States of America. Far enough away from Lafayette, Louisiana already. You think that's far? Well now, Nzeocha is set to suit up for the Bondi Beach Buccaneers. In case you were wondering, Bondi Beach is in Australia. About as far away from Louisiana as you could get. Nzeocha has just met his new teammates and now he has to go into battle with them. Luckily for him, he is a fighter and is battle tested. He is ready for anything. With leadership from current NSFL player and mentor Rayne Gordon, Nzeocha has some more insights on how wide receivers operate in this league. In a pregame statement, Nzeocha claimed that he "knows he is far away from home and anything he is used to, but he gets positive vibes from his teammates and staff and is ready to go to work. Bondi Beach Buccaneers (Lavar Ball would be proud of this acronym) are ready to rock the world.

A lot changed for Brandon Booker this past offseason. For the first time since entering the ISFL in S22, Booker moved teams. Some miscommunication from the Philadelphia Liberty management between Booker and other GMs led to Booker apparently being traded to Sarasota, and then a few days later apparently being traded to Orange County instead after he'd already been speaking to his new GMs and teammates. A few hours later Booker took his option and became a free agent, eventually joining Orange County anyway. What a waste of his and everyone else's time.
Brandon Booker now finds himself on easily the best team he's ever played with. Booker himself has continued to improve and is now the CB4 in the ISFL by TPE. The Orange County Otters defence is possibly the best in the league, boasting five 1000+ TPE players. And, with two of the league's best DBs over the last few seasons in Korrin Abernathy and Prince Vegeta beside him, Booker is in good company in the secondary. The offence is nothing to scoff at either, with a core of backs and receivers entering their prime and Suleiman Ramza - protected by three human offensive linemen, no less - entering his second ISFL season after a promising debut in S25. Orange County has started 2-0 - something Brandon Booker didn't experience in his four seasons with Philadelphia - and have their sights set on the Ultimus. After playing just one playoff game in four seasons, these expectations (and having the ability to stand a chance of realising them) are a new, and welcome feeling. For Zach Crossley, this offseason was one full of change. To start, his now former team changed location entirely. They moved from Myrtle Beach all the way to Australia to become the Bondi Beach Buccaneers. Though Zach is no longer with the Buccaneers he wishes the team best of luck in their new location.
The biggest change for Zach is his move to the ISFL as he joined the San Jose Sabercats for this season. This has allowed Zach to spend his accrued TPE past the DSFL cap. The first thing Zach improved was his speed and of course his hands. The speed should help Zach adjust to the faster paced game of the ISFL and be able to help contribute to the Sabercats. The increase in hands should also be a boon to Crossley. He had an enormous amount of drops in his prior season so hopefully the increase in hands will eliminate those problems. For this season Crossley and the Sabercats have lofty expectations. The team has won two straight ultimus titles and will be looking for a historic three peat this season. Crossley himself is still bitter after his playoff loss last season in the DSFL and is hoping the Sabercats run can continue and he will experience his first post season success. In terms of personal stats, Crossley is not expecting to make a major impact this season. The Sabercats already have elite wide receivers so Crossley will have to spend his time in the slot. He expects to put up a modest 400 yards this year and a few touchdowns. ![]() ![]() |
