If I am voted in as DSFL Commissioner, I will push for a rule change that all players are tamperable unless they explicitly sign a no tamper clause in their contract.

But even in this scenario, GM's don't have any obligation to accept the demanded trade, right? If this is the scenario that necessitates tampering penalties in the DSFL, why are we seeing such a harsh punishment on what is obviously a much less severe example of tampering? If the answer is as simple as "because tampering is tampering" then oof.
It's just a shame someone who is still pretty new to the site is getting dunked on because of this similar but clearly completely different scenario.
