Congratulations to @ADwyer87 whose guess of 417 was closest to the super secret random number: 393. Too bad the religiously inspired choice of 777 didn't carry the day this time @Aenir . Sad

Buuut, we are well on the way to the second game. I'll continue to add to this list as participants come in! When we hit 7, I'll throw up the invite, a ready-check and the game will be afoot!

Dungeon master extraordinaire Matthew Coville recently posted an introduction to Diplomacy on his YouTube page. The video is an excellent introduction to the atmosphere and interactions in the game with some light rules thrown in as well.

And if you want a fun read, check out this after-action report from a school teacher using Diplomacy to teach some 5th and 6th grade Korean girls the art of diplomacy. It's pretty awesome! Wish I had a teacher this cool back in the day.

Grrr... that's super frustrating. You should have had an option on the game page to request a new email confirmation link and also a link to confirm your participation. Would you be up for trying to join again?

I'd be interested in hearing what @Jogn's and @Kristy95's experiences were too. Hopefully their PlayDiplomacy.com email went through...

With how annoying this has been makes it seem like the move to the new site wasn't worth it

I'm not in disagreement right now. grrr :angry:

Right now I'm researching the powers a GM on backstabbr has. The game will probably run best if I just audit the game be a resource for everyone who wants to play. This is a hard game and having someone to answer all your questions whenever they may come up is possibly the best thing. It would be easier for me to do the After-Action reports as an impartial observer too.
