I think I will make the most obvious prediction here and I am not sure how can I make my answer so many words when it is actually a pretty simple explanation: Sirdsvaldis Miglasķēms should be the DSFL MVP for season 27. The stats speak for themselves. He has, as of week 10, over 1000 yards (the only RB to do so) and FIFTEEN touchdowns, that’s seven more than the second best. That’s insane, that’s MVP worthy stats. I am not just saying that because he is my teammate at Dallas and RB room friend. The man is on fire and is leading Dallas to a 9-1 season, one that is surely to be remembered as one of our best yet. Dallas has a history of developing good RBs and even when Cobra Kai went to the ISFL there was no doubt that the backfield was in good hands with Sirdsvaldis Miglasķēms. I have scrolled through the stats of all the other DSFL players and no one deserves to even be in the conversation alongside Miglasķēms. This award should be given right now. He would be the first Latvian player to win such an award and would bring so much proud to his country. GIVE THIS MAN HIS AWARD

I'm going to talk about my predictions for Quarterback of the Year and Rookie of the Year this season. As far as QBOTY goes, I think Ben Slothisberger is top choice as of now. He's only down a tenth of a point in total QBR to George O'Donnell and about three percent on his completion percentage, but he leads the league in yardage, is second in touchdown passes, and has the lowest number of interceptions. It helps that he plays for the New Orleans Second Line who have been punching above their perceived weight class this season.
As far as the Rookie of the Year award, I know I'm going to jinx the hell out of myself, but I think I'm sitting in a pretty nice spot. There aren't any particularly impressive rookies in any other offensive positions, and I think I'm head and shoulders above Jackie Daytona right now. My touchdown to interception ratio is much better than his and so is my completion percentage, but he has thrown for close to 400 more yards than me. I'm not super worried about the yardage because I don't think that really tips the scales in his favor, but what would tip them towards him is if I just jinxed myself and I suck for the rest of the season. Chika Fujiwara played the first half of this season on the Baltimore Hawks whose record speaks to the struggles they have been having. A glimpse at ISFL News would show there has been some front office shake-ups and struggles that paint a picture as to why Fujiwara has also struggled. Meanwhile, halfway across the world in Hawaii, Luke Skywalker has been having the season of a lifetime, but having "checked out" last season, was not going to be the quarterback of the future. Given that Chika and Luke have similar builds, it was a no-brainer for Honolulu to make a trade to try and make a playoff run during this surprising season. Although Chika lost the first game on her new team, we can chalk that up to growing pains. Hopefully, Honolulu's coaching staff can transfer Luke's success to Chika to finish off the season strong.
While Chika likely will not be able to make a turnaround to get offensive player of the year or quarterback of the year, Honolulu hopes to at least put her in position for a performance of the year award since we have half a season to do it! Finally, it would be cool if she could be recognized for the comeback performance that we are all hoping that she gets!

Well as A DSFL player, I will be talking about who I think deserves the DSFL awards, I will also be focusing on the players for the Minnesota Ducks as I'm the most familiar with them, however I will give awards to those who deserve it (but mostly Ducks).
The best QB award should go to Lebron James III, he has the best QB rating, most TD throws, most throwing yards and has the best completion percentage, leading in so many stats makes him deserving of the award. The best RB award only belongs to Madison Hayes in my opinion, he’s currently 2nd in yards, top 10 in average yards, has the third longest recorded run and is joint 3rd in rushing TD’s, he also single handedly carried the Minnesota offence earlier in the season and is still our most important player on offence. The best Offensive rookie is between Brandon Prince and Manhattan Project, and i’ll go with Project as I refuse to give Prince any credit, Project is leading rookies in rushing attempts, yards and average yards. He also has the longest run by a rookie, while he hasn’t had as many TD’s as other rookies; everything else more than makes up for it in my opinion. The best Defensive player award should go to Devonte Crook, he has the second most tackles and is first for tackles for loss, he’s also tied 3rd for pass deflections. The Best Defensive rookie should go to DeAndre Chuggs, he by far has the most tackles (with 69) and has a host of other stats and has really held his defence together. The best Kicker/Punter undoubtedly should go to Gluteus Maximus, he has the best average punt yardage and has the most punts landed within 20 yards even though he has less punts than most, and has the longest punt. He is also the only kicker to hit multiple over 50 yard field goals and has hit over 50% of them, he is far and away the most deserving. ![]() |
