Okay I ain't finna read 22 stupid pages, but if she gets fired then every past PT person who had this happen under them should be fired. Also, PT people report to Kya (PT head). Kya reports to HO. So..... fire HO???
I'm being facetious, obviously, but come on fellas. If it's a fire-able offense, should be for all PT people.. fair is fair. (Nothing against PT people. More pointing out current thing don't be makin no sense)

I am curious as to how many of the late submissions that are being counted are Predictions submissions taking place between 7:45 and 8:00. As a grader I always let those slide as they still got their submission in before the games started. I would even sometimes be lenient and let a few minutes past 8 be ok since I knew they still wouldn't have any info to go off of at that point. This league is supposed to be a thing we do for fun where we meet new friends and have a good time. Punishing players for submitting a few minutes late is not at all within the spirit of the league, especially when it is being done retroactively.

I appreciate the good memes and all, but from every indication I've had from people in HO that I've talked to over the past ~24 hours it would be more accurate to write:

HO: "Are we out of touch?"
HO: "Yes, we should improve how we handle things like this moving forward."

Not to put words into HO's mouth or anything, but I feel like there's a lot of backlash against HO for not responding to the backlash properly when IMO they haven't even had time to begin responding in a manner that people would find sufficient. Not to mention that they now have to quickly turn around and process job applications for a variety of league-important jobs. From my perspective, we've had several people from HO participating in this thread and throughout league Discord servers and management channels thoughtfully responding with the thought process that went into this decision, as well as listening to feedback on what the groups you list in the meme would have liked to see happen differently. So I can't agree with this line of criticism.

As for the initial drama itself, even though I like to think I would have made a different decision if I were in HO's situation, I can still understand the thinking that led to such a harsh punishment being imposed and I find the arguments of it being motivated by malicious bias or other nefarious purposes unconvincing (much like many people in this thread are finding the evidence that Kya was acting with malicious bias unconvincing!). I think it is healthy and correct for people to criticize the decision made here and especially the way in which it was presented to the general userbase. At the same time, I fail to see this as the start or continuation of any patterns that would make me worry for the survival of the league. Again, in part based on my interactions with HO members since this thread was posted, I have genuine faith that HO is taking the response to this to heart.

For these reasons, if I actually have the opportunity to participate in this supposed vote of no confidence (which I hope DSFL GMs would be able to participate in), I would be overwhelmingly likely to give a vote of... yes confidence? Whatever the opposite of a vote of no confidence is called.

I think this is where people are fed up, tho. This isn't the first time the outcome of something has been "we need to improve". The offseason PT was a survey on how HO could improve and be more transparent. And what's the first thing they do after getting all the surveys? Make a decision like this and blindside the entire user base with a mass TPE reduction and unjust firing.

I'm sorry to respond to only a part of your post but a vote of no confidence is just voting no to "do you have confidence in the government". A vote of "yes confidence" is just affirming confidence or showing that you "have confidence".

Or voting "I have confidence".

@tMuse @Z-Whiz Im tagging you both cause screw getting the quoting to sit right and you both talked about the same thing in regards to the off-season PPT survey.

I can only speak for myself that, at this current point in time, all responses have not been read. There were 312 responses which is amazing numbers (its about 30 less than the same week's Activity Check). Personally I have probably read close to the 150-175 mark, but I was the one created and made the survey on google forms, so unlike the rest of HO i could sit there much easiily just reading and making sure responses/codewords were okay than the rest could using the generated spreadsheet.

There is going to be a full analysis and piece written for it, I do not know when that will be done and unfortunately its only going to be pushed back later than people think whilst we sort out the fallout from this  but please bare with me and the rest of HO has it gets done.
