so i think most teams think they did the best in draft but i did a look at tpe of people taken vs others gone in the same rounds. one difference is position of players i have listed that but did not take to consideration here so keep that in mind.
so heres the best and worst player by each round. the number after the player is the tpe difference they have with average of the round. it would probably be better to go back and look at difference of like 5 players on each side of the player picked because in this format arizona for example with later picks has a disadvantage but i didnt realize that until after i finished doing the numbers.....
Best
1. Lavelle - 56
2. Savea - 24
3. DiMirio - 56
4. Chess - 50
5. Luechly - 45
6. Ronaldo - 78, BEST IN DRAFT
7. Vincent - 35
8. Diaz - 19
9. Bullard -30
10. Morgan - 25
11. Kennedy - 32
so my boy ronaldo was a steal in the draft by a big amount. other great picks were lavelle who was #1 overall and dimirio who went down probably because of position. Chess and Luechly (ME!) were also badass picks for the draft. looks like the bad boys won again...but lets look at the bad picks first..maybe the outlaws fucked up here...
Worst
1. Bjornsson - -48
2. Thomas - -48
3. Charlton - -56
4. Charles - -66
5. Green - -43
6. Dodggy - -32
7. Langdon- -72, WORST IN DRAFT
8. Parker/Gibson - -29
9. Pancake/J/Brownce - -19
the picks after 9 are all just inactive people except for a few good guys up above. one thing to see is that of people that were bad picks all but 4 were lineman on offense or defense so people needed lineman and reached for em.
so heres a tally of who did good and who did not so good in the draft. players well above average are counted for steal and way below are as reach. all teams still ahve some players that were over or below average not in chart, but not a huge amount above or below.

so what do you see? the outlaws did very well. a surprise was the legion who did very well too especially getting three steals with limited picks. the wraiths drafted well but did have a few bad picks on the list. they got the 1st pick so that was a easy choice for them. but then they reached later in the first because dline needs and they took a lb in the second that is basically the same in tpe as one they could have gotten way later but is also just a much better player. the worst draft would be depending on what you consider worst. orange county did 0 steals so they got players where they were basically valued. the yeti had 2 misses and only 1 steal. liberty, san jose, and baltimore all broke even with there steals and reaches so lots of good players and lots of not so good ones.
here is the table with data this all is based on
