This thread is cancerous.

1. The two TPE related incidents were not the Hawks fault. So let's stop being up their ass about it. It's over and done with.

2. Since HENDRIX shouldn't have any strikes against him, the deletion issue needs to be looked at with a clean slate. He deleted a post that was mocking/defaming his team, which is a clear violation of traditional moderator powers.

3. Ceteris paribus, HENDRIX should be removed as a moderator, but there's an issue. He's a GM. What he did should not be grounds for removing him as the GM of his team, that's just unfair. And since he hasn't done anything else wrong, a slap on the wrist should suffice here. Just don't delete posts, that's stupid.

My understanding is that the mod powers of a GM don't really come up very often, so it wouldn't be much of a burden on another member of his team to take over those duties.

Honestly, I have talked to several people and we all thought that the Hawks GM should potentially lose his job over this. It cannot be that the league just accepts GM to abuse their mod powers like that and delete comments. Owning up to a mistake is completely different than what happened. The head office has been very soft in all decisions so far so I am not shocked here either, but honestly, this is ruining the fun of this league and slowly but surely it is annoying. I don't want to spend so many hours of my life on this website when I have to fear my comments being deleted out of nowhere for no reason. What he did was more than just "made a mistake" and owning up to it would be to step back, not to say sorry I was caught doing it.

Kristy has written plenty of articles and done plenty for the league. Not everyone has time for a league job and they do what they can. I know you want to have Hendrix's back but that is not nearly the response someone should make when in a situation like this. It was an abuse of mod powers, and Kristy is pointing that out. There is no need to make a comment like that when this is a legitimate issue.

I accepted a GM role to help out my teammates, and there's really no reward beyond that. Take it for what you will. Y'all are taking this too seriously. For a moment, Hendrix did as well and he made a mistake in doing so.
