It may come as no surprise, but like many other high profile draftees around the league I have decided to sign with Roc Nation Sports and have Tim Pest represent me going forward. I am very thankful to have the services of Pest at my disposal. You can look around the league and see all the good that he is doing for young players like myself. As someone that has been through the struggles of being an NSFL player, he brings a perspective to the negotiating table that many GMs and other front office members may not fully appreciate. He’s also not afraid to just get right to the point and ignore all that fancy lawyer bullshit in favor of speaking in plain terms.
I am happy to say that with Tim’s help I have finally been able to come to terms with the Liberty and secure a contract that includes a mutual option at the tail end of the contract. This was a term that I had specified in initial negotiations, but was a sticking point until Tim Pest helped everyone loosen up with his trademark smile, quick wit and a firm handshake to seal the deal. If you are a young player in the league, or simply a player that feels like they aren’t getting the respect they deserve, Roc Nation Sports is the place for you to go.
All that being said, I am very happy to finally get my career with the Liberty started and very thankful for them taking a chance on me. I know that there is a lot of work ahead for us, especially myself as I head back to the DSFL for another season, but that we have a strong core for the future.
Thank you Philly, thank you Roc Nation. Now let’s get to work.
