Season over, Marcella T?riki exits the Norfolk training complex with a full heart, and even fuller arms. Locker cleared, she stops in front of the small group of reporters watching this season's Seawolves depart.

Adjusting the strap of her duffle bag on her shoulder, she smiles brightly and says "I suppose you have some last questions before I take my break here. What've we got?"

1. Are you bummed you couldn't break Dorfus Jimbo's Norfolk rushing record?

Of course, it's always sad to fall short of a record. I have to be proud of what I managed to accomplish. I had 2689 all-purpose yards in Norfolk this season. And that's nothing to scoff at. Record or no, I feel like I did good work.

2. Top 3 draft destinations.

At this point, I'd say Yellowknife, Arizona and New Orleans. I want a change of scenery, honestly. I love Norfolk, and it will always have a very special place in my heart. It's the same way I feel about Eugene, Oregon. But I need something different. I'm looking for somewhere that will ask me to grow as a person and a player, and will help me on the journey to be the best version of myself.

3. On a scale of 1-10 how cute is Buzz?

11/10, precious beyond belief. Bestest of bois.

Why is Arizona the best?

I've never been to Arizona, so I cannot, in fact, speak to that. I've heard decent things. Apparently they have a full fast-food restaurant in their stadium? Blue Palace, or something like that. That's pretty neat, I suppose.
Honestly, they have the GM powerhouse that is Victoria Danvers, a history of Ultimus wins, plus that beautiful sunshine. They've got a lot going for them. I don't know that I'd say best. But they seem pretty damn good.

Where do you see yourself getting drafted?

I see myself going to a team that needs a solid RB for the future. That could be Yellowknife, that could be Arizona, could be lots of places. I think I'll go early, and I think I'll go to a team that sees the value in investing in someone like me.

What role do you envision yourself in on said team?

I'd like to step up to be a locker room leader wherever I go. Regardless of my performance on the field, that's something that I'm able to contribute.

I'd like to eventually be a feature back somewhere, or at least be in a position to contribute to wins in a meaningful way. I want to be useful.

Favorite Ice cream flavor?

Mint chip. There's just something about it that speaks to my soul. I basically don't like any other mint flavored thing, but mint chip ice cream is always a win. Sometimes, after a really rough game, I'll go straight home for a bowl of the stuff.

Favorite food?

Oh, that's tough. It depends on my mood, really. But I think if I had to pick something right now, it'd be chicken pad thai. It's the first thing I'm bingeing out on this off-season, let me tell you that much. Plates and plates of thai food, please and thank you.

How will you remember your time in the DSFL?

I will remember this season in the DSFL as the time in my life that I was proven right and wrong all at once. It's been proven that I can do the work; That I have a place in this sport, and that I am worthy of the opportunities before me.
And I've been proved wrong, in that I came in wanting to win, and thought that was going to be the measure of a good season. Well, Norfolk lost. We lost a lot. And despite that, this has been one of my best seasons in football. Maybe my stats aren't perfect. God knows my ypc makes me want to cry. But I've grown as a player this season. I've become a better teammate, a better running back, a better human being. All because of the people in my corner this season. I'm never going to forget this season.

Do you think you'll be the 1st RB taken in the draft?

Oh, I think I might be. There are a lot of good RBs up for this draft, so it's hard to say for sure. But I've had a lot of interest in me, and I think that there are enough teams worrying about missing out on me to see me go very quickly. I don't think you can go wrong with any of the RBs though.

How do you feel you compare to the rest of the RBs in this class?

I think there's a lot of talented guys out there. You have backs like Hanyadi, Ruff Ruff, Dotson, all great guys who put in the work. But at the end of the day, I think I'm close to top of the pack. Yes, other guys have better numbers. But if you look at the context of those numbers, you have to see my strenght. For example, I tied for the lead in fumbles but had literally more than double the number of carries as the person I tied with.

So if you want someone with good numbers on paper, you're picking someone else. But if you're looking for the running back with the most heart? With the most drive to improve? You want me.

Reports from the coaching staff say you improved a lot in speed during the season. What was your secret to success?

I put in the time. Doing hills and interval runs sucks, but they work. I've really pushed to build my endurance base, on top of perfect my form to get those good speed bursts when I need them.

How pleased were you with your first season in the league?

I'm happy. Obviously I'm aware that I could have been better, and I'm walking away with a lot of notes on what I want to change and adjust to make sure my next season is better. But I think I played my heart out. I have loved my time with the Seawolves this season, and I couldn't imagine a better debut.

I also made some lifelong friends this season. Bjørn and I have had some really good locker room talks, and my OLine guys would literally die for me. I've even managed to make some good friends on other teams. They know who they are.

What do you want your career to look like in 5 seasons? 10 seasons?

In 5 seasons, I'd like to be one of the top running back in the league. Hopefully with a ring or two.
In 10 seasons, I'd like to be able to hold the career record for rushing yards, no question.

Favorite mascot?

I will always love The Oregon Duck. In my Oregon days, Duck came to me in my darkest moment. I had hurt my ankle mid-game and got benched, and that beautiful lil duck came up every now and again to make me smile. He melted away the anger and got me back into the right headspace. The Oregon Duck is my guardian angle in mascot form.

Favorite pupper?

Impossible question. All puppers are good puppers, and I cannot choose between them. How dare you even try to make me choose.

How do you feel about Zach Hall and Jake Dropsons love affair and we’re you Involved at all?

I wasn't involved, but I have been keeping a close eye on things. I think it's great that people are finding love in the most surprising of places. If you need any help planning the wedding, you have my number. I think we can go with a nice sunset color scheme, get the orange and yellow in there together.

Also since you are now pregnant, what are you gonna do when you give birth to your multi?

While I can't confirm a pregnancy, I can say that if I were to be having a multi in that way, I would in no way announce my plans for them in such a public forum. A lady is entitled to some secrets.

After a great statistical season but poor team results, what is your goal for next season?

My biggest goal is to bring my ypc back up. Being so low this last season hurt me just a bit. I'd also like to get a bit better at making it to the endzone.

Do you have a preferred landing spot in the NSFL draft?

I do. I'm keeping the final answer a bit close to the vest though. At the end of the day, I'll be happy no matter what happens.

How does it feel to be the 1st wheelchair stricken running back in the league?

Now that's just hurtful. Have you seen these thighs? These legs have taken me far, and they're not out for the count yet. The only wheels I'll be on are the wheels on the gurney that takes me to the funeral home.

Do you think corduroy is coming back into style?

Back into style? It never went out of style. Corduroy is not only practical and comfortable, it is universally flattering. Don your corduroy with pride. It's a staple of a fall/winter wardrobe.

Would you prefer to fight one elephant sized Woelker or 10 Woelker sized Woelkers and how would you win?

10 Woelker sized Woelkers, absolutely. Because I can convince them not to fight me by offering instead to run a dungeons and dragon one-shot for them. And in that scenario, we all win.

If you could have any one creature in this world to snuggle, what would it be?

Chinchilla. Absolutely no question. They're the softest little babies in the world.

Would you prefer to be as small as a mouse or as big as a giraffe?

I'd rather be giraffe sized, I think. I'd like to avoid getting stepped on if at all possible. I'm not a Python, after all.

If you designed your own team where would it be and what would you call it?

I'm going to go with the El Paso Predators. #WeComeToPrey
