For the sake of this, and my sanity, I am going to assume that all the trades happened as they did, and all teams draft order are the same. Now before I try to redo this draft, I am first going to show how the draft went in real life and some analysis on that. There were not that many surprises, and no major trades, other than those bums on Myrtle Beach who traded out of the first round twice.
Round 1
#1 - MIN - Darrel Williams - RB - Ry_
This was really not a surprise to anyone, as Darrel has been a consistent earner since he joined after the trade deadline and was the clear #1 overall choice here. He was already over 100 TPE, and the ducks just lost two running backs to call-ups.
#2 - POR - Galf Wilf - LB - Moosecop
This was also an amazing pick as the pythons get a NSFL gm, and proven max earner. He has proven he was worthy of pick 2oa, but now that the Pythons have Willie B. Hardagain, the team was not necessarily the biggest position of need. And yes, at the time he was getting called up in Chicago, but that's too much drama for me to talk about in this media.
#3 - POR - Desmond Scarlett - CB - Unicorn
Another player that was worthy of a first-round selection, the last player created by Unicorn is almost sure to be a HOF’er, and so far Scarlett looks to be on that track. Portland continues their solid CB selections with this new player.
#4 - TIJ - Kyle Idlewyld - DE - Kyle
Kyle has definitely been worthy of a first round pick, even as a first-gen player. He has been a dominant run stopper this season, and the stats show that. I believe he is a very solid selection, but he could have been somewhat of a reach with multiple other D-line players at a similar TPE. And as of the writing of this article, he does not lead s20 defensive linemen in TPE, as of the time I’m writing this article, he trails by over 10 in TPE at 124.
Round 2
#5 - MIN - Thor Kirkby - LB - Acsolap
Thor has been just as his name suggests, and that is electric. Ascolap, otherwise known as Ass, is a SHL guy, and his sim league knowledge has translated quite well. He is already over 125 TPE, and he has been earning at a constant rate. It was a risky pick for the ducks, since he is a true rookie, but this pick has been a homerun.
#6 - TIJ - Randy Vuxta - WR - roastfuego
The S O U P man himself, Vuxta has been nothing short of a fantastic pick, both on, and off the field. He is one of the top earners of his class, and was well worth the 6’th overall pick. He has the league lead in receiving touchdowns, and has been Avon’s red zone threat that he desperately needed.
#7 - MIN - Tash Thompson - WR - casserole
I may be too nice to fellow DSFL GM’s, but this was another great pick. Zackary Vegas gets to have an actual WR to throw too, and Bex’s favorite team (rip Nofolk) gets a woman on the squad. Even though Minnesota’s offense has been pretty lackluster this year, Tash Thompson is not at all the reason why.
#8 - POR - Jah Bur’Berry - WR - soryantyler
Portland’s first 2 rounds were very good for them, even with the loss of Kacey Dream, they built up their team to the point where it is well worth it. They got a top 2 skill position player in the draft (sorry Venus) at pick 8, behind 2 other wide receivers might I add. While soryantler may have not been that great for Palm Beach, he has been amazing with Portland. He is just behind Rayne Gordon on the wide receiver list, and has been Jay Cue’s favorite target this year.
Round 3
#9 - MB - Awkard Sexjoke - DE - AdamS
Now this is one of the steals of the draft! The Buccaneers get a player that is a NSFL GM, all the way in the third round, and better yet, he is at a position of extreme need for MB. Those GM’s are really good! He is currently 5’th in TPE, and was picked all the way down at #9, and 5 spots below the first DE picked.
#10 - MB - Bobby Boucher - DE - BigUnitBabs
Boy, these MB GM’s really are good at finding gems in the draft! They get the famous waterboy, and PBE GM Babs. He is currently 7’th in TPE, and is behind only his fellow Beach boi in Awkard Sexjoke. He is a major reason why Myrtle Beach leads the league in sacks.
#11 - MB - Ricardo Rose - RB - riddlingminion
I say it once, I say it twice, and now I have to say it thrice, Myrtle Beach has had one hell of a draft! While Ricardo Rose hasn’t exactly been earning massive amounts of TPE, he is at a solid 80, and hasn't missed an update yet. He is a sim legend, and has an insane league leading 12 rushing touchdowns! That’s tied for second most touchdowns from a quarterback. His season is one to remember.
#12 - POR - Dre Uzond - CB - Nuk
This is where Portland’s draft fell apart. Not only did he go IA, he barely earned anything, and tainted the league for the worst with his questionable comments. I think everyone can say that we are glad the Dre Uzond has retired.
Round 4
#13 - TIJ - Inspectah Deck - LB - W.Sconnie
Inspectah Deck has had a quietly solid season. He is at a very respectable 94 TPE, and has been a huge reason why Tijuana’s defense has been this good. He has had 4 tackles for loss, and a game FF and FR. He maybe could have been considered a reach here, but he fit Tijuana’s team need, so it was still a good pick.
#14 - TIJ - Victor Moreno - CB - GreenArmy
This pick here could potentially be the steal of the draft. At pick 14 in the fourth round, Tijuana found a CB that is currently 12’th in TPE and has truly elevated Tijuana’s porous secondary. The complement of him with safety Blaylock creates a duo that the DSFL is very scared of.
#15 - MIN - Oliver McWigglebutts - DT - MaxTheDog
This is one of the busts of the draft, but getting a 72 TPE DT this late in the draft is not bad at all. Unfortunately for Minnesota, his last post was December 6’th and it looks like the league has lost a glorious name to the depth of inactivity.
#16 - POR - Darnell Johnson - WR - Dylanjj37
The poor glorious dylan, and his sad tale of inactivity. As a former Hepcat teammate in PBE I was actually looking to draft him in the fifth round but Portland snagged him up. He was a very active discord user, but it did not equal forum activity as Darnell Johnson has only earned a meager 2 TPE since creating.
Round 5
#17 - MB - Jacoby Clay - WR - Vexatious
Ok so I know I said that Victor Moreno is the steal of the draft, but I take it all back, Jacoby Clay aka Vex is THE steal of the draft. He was picked behind a player of his own position that earned 2 TPE, and he now is at a very healthy 114 TPE and is only 8 TPE behind the other steal, even while being picked way later. As the MB GM I am incredibly happy that we were able to get a active discord user, and updater, all the way in the 5th round. He is even good stat-wise as he has a tied for third best in yardage as a receiver! I can see him being a second round pick easily in the NSFL.
#18 - TIJ - Barnabas Cole - DE - ITBret42
This is where the busts start to pile up unfortunately, as Tijuana picked a 62 TPE DE that has not been active. It sucks to see, but we all know that it happens, especially in the DSFL. I will probably skip over most of the players if they are IA from now on.
#19 - MIN - Silver Banana - K/P - golden_apricot
The first kicker picked represents! I know this pick may have surprised some people with Venus Powers still on the board, but I have heard that she and the duck GM had a quarrel that made them not agree on many things, causing a Banana to become a Duck. I personally love this pick. An incredibly active SHL member, golden_apricot has still consistently been updating, and is one of the few activities left on the board.
#20 - POR - Venus Powers - K/P - Baron1898
This is a player that not many expected to fall all the way down here, but it did happen nonetheless. Powers goes to the Pythons, and this pick was one that somewhat confused me, as the Pythons already had an active Espinosa at the helm, but having two kickers is never a bad thing, and I still support it. Their special teams unit has been very good this season.
Round 6
#21 - MB - Siddhu Sarvepally - RB - siddhus
Forget what I said about Jacoby Clay, he and siddhus can tie for being steals. Siddhu Sarvepally has been part of the workhorse backfield of Myrtle Beach. This pure speed back has had a MONSTER update recently with an amazing 57 TPE in one update! He is now at 107 and is 13’th of all s20. 8 spots above his draft position! The Myrtle Beach GM’s are really good!
#22 - TIJ - Miles Royal - WR - 07ToyotaCamry
Rip, he be IA
#23 - MIN - Charles Colton - OL - JacobH209
Rip, he be IA
#24 - POR - Randall Jimmerson - DE - JumboBumbo
Rip, he be IA
Round 7
#25 - MB - David Donaldson - TE - Kcobb9
Rip, he be IA
#26 - TIJ - George Bjornsson - DT-Tolan33
Rip, he be IA
#27 - MIN - Kenny Omega - LB - K.B.O.O.M.

#28 - POR - Hingle McCringleberry - DT - quesadillananda
Rip, he be IA
Round 8
#29 - MB - Vince Hammerson - K - Channel88
Rip, he be IA
- Ok so he is IA, but I just wanted to talk about how amazing this guy has been in the sim. He tied Baxter Frost’s team record with a 56 yard kick, and leads the DSFL in points. What a legend
#30 - TIJ - Darby Allin - QB - erarper234
Rip, he be IA
#31 - MIN - Dave Casper Jr. - TE - Sanchez801
Rip, he be IA
#32 - POR - Tyroil Smoochie-Wallace - LB - Kdowner15
Rip, he be IA
Round 9
#33 - MB - Jaker Case – TE - Jaker
The GOAT, but also… Rip, he be IA
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Now that we have all that figured out, let's do a Redraft! All the s19 players have been wiped clean from their respective team. I’m gonna only do the first 5 rounds since nobody really cares about the inactive bums.
Round 1
#1 - MIN - Darrel Williams - RB - Ry_ | - | *Original Pick: Darrel Williams - RB - Ry_
This pick cannot really change as Ry_ has still continued to update, and prove why he was worthy of a first round pick. Minnesota does not change at all here and their ferocious run game continues to dominate in the Frost re-draft.
#2 - POR - Galf Wilf - LB - Moosecop | - | *Original Pick: Galf Wilf - LB - Moosecop
Portland’s pick here does not change at all as their pick of a NSFL gm has worked to perfection. Galf has fitted in nicely into the Portland defense and become a leader for the team. So far this redraft hasn’t really gotten spicy. Lets continue!
#3 - POR - Desmond Scarlett - CB - Unicorn | - | *Original Pick: Desmond Scarlett - CB - Unicorn
Well I feel like my job isn’t that important with this redraft. The DSFL GM’s all had really good ideas on what to do for the s19 draft. Portland still finds Kacey Dream’s replacement in the Frost re-draft. This next pick actually changes, trust me!
#4 - TIJ - Awkard Sexjoke - DE - AdamS | +5 | *Original Pick: Kyle Idlewyld - DE - Kyle
Tijuana still manages to snag a top DE, but now they get a slightly higher TPE player and the current league lead in sacks. They are able to boast an even stronger defensive line with this pick.
Round 2
#5 - MIN - Jah Bur’Berry - WR - soryantyler | +3 | *Original Pick: Thor Kirkby - LB - Acsolap
While their original pick in this spot was not a bad pick at all, MIN now gets a top 5 talent at the #5 spot. And with Tijuana with and with another WR needy team below them, they make sure to get their guy before Tijuana can.
#6 - TIJ - Randy Vuxta - WR - roastfuego | - | *Original Pick: Randy Vuxta - WR - roastfuego
Tijuana’s pick here does not change, and one of the most vocal Tijuana players stays in Tijuana. The King of soup is still able to fulfill his destiny of catching passes from Avon, and he joins the origin of the soup in his new teammate AdamS.
#7 - MIN - Thor Kirkby - LB - Acsolap| -2 | *Original Pick: Tash Thompson - WR - casserole
This is a bit of a stretch with Ascolap being at a moderately low TPE, but MIN has to play off of their team need with a relatively small LB class. They still get their guy, but now they get him 2 spots below what they originally had him at.
#8 - POR - Bobby Boucher - DE - BigUnitBabs | +2 | *Original Pick: Jah Bur’Berry - WR - soryantyler
In this re-draft, Portland keeps their waiver pick-up and is able to find their pass rush that they so definitely needed. The waterboy makes them have a very stout defense, and now all of Portland’s picks have been on defense.
Round 3
#9 - MB - Kyle Idlewyld - DE - Kyle | -5 | *Original Pick: Awkard Sexjoke - DE - AdamS
With MB desperately needing a pass rush, they snatch the last DE over 140 TPE. Kyle and AdamS switch teams and MB is able to keep their pass rush, and run stop strong with Kyle Idlewyld.
#10 - MB - Jacoby Clay - WR - Vexatious | +7 | *Original Pick: Bobby Boucher - DE - BigUnitBabs
MB still gets their #2 receiver, but now he is 7 picks above where he was in the original draft. Vex will be able to continue to catch passes from Brock Phoenix and learn from Rayne Gordon. Go MB!
#11 - MB -- Siddhu Sarvepally - RB - siddhus | +10 | *Original Pick: Ricardo Rose - RB - riddlingminion
Welp, MB still gets their RB, but not the original one. Siddhu is the clear #2 running back in his class over Ricardo Rose. He is a great locker room asset, and will lead rushing attack of MB alone… for now
#12 - POR - Victor Moreno - CB - GreenArmy | -5 | *Original Pick: Dre Uzond - CB - Nuk
Instead of picking up a CB super-bust, Portland is able to land one of the better players in this s20 draft class with Victor Moreno. He is still constantly updating, and it looks like this Portland secondary will be LOCKDOWN.
Round 4
#13 - TIJ - Inspectah Deck - LB - W.Sconnie | - | *Original Pick: Inspectah Deck - LB - W.Sconnie
Tijuana still manages to get their guy, and for good reason as Deck has been one of the major reasons on why Tijuana has been so dominant on Defense. Deck will be able to continue to man this stout defensive team.
#14 - TIJ - Ricardo Rose - RB - riddlingminion | -3 | *Original Pick: Victor Moreno - CB - GreenArmy
While Ricardo Rose may not be earning at the highest rate in the league, he still has weekly updates, and with Tijuana only having Jed Podolak as their RB, Rose will definetly be able to provide that 1-2 punch that he has in Myrtle Beach currently.
#15 - MIN - Venus Powers - K/P - Baron1898 | +5 | *Original Pick: Oliver McWigglebutts - DT - MaxTheDog
I know it may be strange to take a kicker this high, but this is definitely no ordinary kicker, as Venus Powers has been a max earner and is only second in her class in TPE. Maybe a reach for a kicker, but definitely worth it for these Grey Ducks.
#16 - POR - Tash Thompson - WR - casserole | -9 | *Original Pick: Darnell Johnson - WR - Dylanjj37
Well, in this spot, the Pythons go from 1 inactive receiver, to another, way better inactive reciever :’(. Yes, Tash Thompson went IA, but she still managed to maintain an extremely high TPE count with 122, and is a far better pick than 52 TPE Darnell Johnson.
Round 5
#17 - MB - Silver Banana - K/P - golden_apricot | +2 | *Original Pick: Jacoby Clay - WR - Vexatious
Myrtle Beach finds their kicker here, instead of way later. With their being not much good players left, MB takes the best player available (TPE Wise) to boot those 50 yard field goals. With their GM being a former kicker, this pick makes perfect sense.
#18 - TIJ - Oliver McWigglebutts - DT - MaxTheDog | -3 | *Original Pick: Barnabas Cole - DE - ITBret42
Tijuana gets the last drafted player that wound up over 70 TPE, and with Oliver being a defensive tackle, TPE doesn't really matter, so Tijuana would gladly take this DL with the last impactful pick of the s19 DSFL Redraft!
It was very surprising to me that there were only 16 active players in this draft class (excluding waiver pick-ups). But, in a class of 32, getting 50% isn't actually all too bad. As a GM, realizing I missed out on some late round studs definitely hurts, but it just makes me even more determined to scout better, and to draft better for the next one. With the s20 DSFL draft just around the corner, I am super excited to see what happens. And that's it for this massive article of mine, It may be nowhere close to Isa’s articles, but it almost hit it. Bye!
oh, and one last thing
