Hey everyone. I just wanted to start this press conference off by saying that the first week of practice went really well. Granted I was able to get some time in with the current champs last year and learned some valuable lessons from them, there is always more that I need to work on. Everyone on the staff and the veteran players have really helped me with my transition to the league and I am ready for the season to begin. I guess with that, I should open it up to some Q and A.

Quote:What secondary are you most excited to face this year? There's a couple of good secondaries, and some not so good secondaries, but the one that I will pick regardless of how good they might be is the Wraith's Secondary, mainly because I get to see how I go up against Dermot Lavelle, #1 pick in this past draft, as well as going up against one of my college rivals, Henri Rivere. Henri, Isaiah Rashad of the Outlaws, and Antoine Delacour on the Hawks were all a year ahead of me at LSU while I was at Florida. It was really fun going up against them because they always brought the best out of me and vice versa. It should be cool to see how each of us has grown as a professional and see what we can do at the next level.

Quote:Touchdown dances, yes or no? If yes, do you already have one planned for your first TD?haha. I am not much of a showboater so I typically just toss the ball to the ref and tell him "see ya again real soon", go see what my QB is up to and celebrate on the sideline. My teammates want me to open up more and have some fun on the field, so you may see me participate in a team celebration here or there. My first TD? well, I already scored one last year during that mini season, but I was too freaked out to do anything, ha I even fumbled it handing it to the ref, but this year, man. I don't know. Maybe a Lambeau Leap or hand it to a kid, but like I said, not quite my thing. I do however like Mcringleberry's thing he does, but I don't know if I or my coach could tolerate the penalties every time.
Quote:Are you competing against Damien West for the second starting spot?We have a really good group of guys that see the ball come off our QBs fingertips, and it doesn't matter if you are the 1,2,3 or 4 wide receiver, if you are open, the ball is coming to you. I guess you could call it position-less receiving like position-less basketball, but no matter if I am at the 1 or 5 spot, if I get open, Scrub knows to throw it my way. So I guess I would say no, but we are also pushing each other to become better players.
Quote:Reports coming out of Yellowknife suggest that Rivera may have already slipped down the depth chart and may not see the field even in nickel packages. What are your thoughts on that?Well, they must know that he brings out the best in me! haha. but all jokes aside, there must be some fierce competition up there in Canada if that is the case. Ill be excited either way when I play them. Maybe I will find a new rival who I can rack up some TDs against every once in a while.
Quote:Favorite cleats Under armor or Nike or Adidas ?Oh I definitely go with Under Armor. If the league allowed it, they would be my first choice for a sponsorship. Addidas Gear always feels weird on me and Nike just doesn't have the same mojo it once had.
Quote:Most unusual position you've ever played at ? (I.E.: RB..FS...Punter..)Oh my High School coach put me all over the place. Safety and D-end were fun. QB was exciting but I can't throw more than 25 yards down the field. I was the punter for the team, but could not do kickoffs. In College I had to punt twice and averaged 40 yards, but the worst position I played was Returner. I would always fumble the ball. I don't know if it was because I was scared of everyone running full speed at me or if the way you catch it is just not normal for someone used to being on the run. it is also quite hard to dodge 11 world class athletes. Remind coach for me to never put me back there; punts or kickoffs.
Quote:Favorite food the nutritionist would be upset you ate?all of it. haha. just kidding. I have my fair share of Pizza and I love my Poptarts. He should also know that I am definitely getting my protein, Dairy, gluten, and fruit for the day. Chicken, noodles, and smoothies are my go to meal.
Quote:If you hadn't gone to Florida ?.what other college (not in the SEC) which would it be and why?I had never really thought about that. Florida has always been my dream school since I was little, even growing up in Wisconsin, so it was a no-brainer when I received an offer to be a preferred walk on to the team. My grades were pretty good coming out of High School and I got accepted directly into the business school. I guess Northern Illinois, Northwestern, or maybe even Dayton. I wasn't too worried though.
Quote:Favorite off season hobby?Jetskiing and Snowboarding. Coach and GM probably don't want to hear that. I also like to travel a bit, but I do a little bit of everything. my whole life can probably be defined as being a jack of all trades, but I don't like the 'master of none' part. makes me feel limited when I know that the sky is the limit.
