Welcome to the first presser for the SeaWolves and the GMs involved, ask anything here, and I"ll answer in a timely fashion probably.

How did you come up with this name?

Are you planning to focus on offense or defense?

TO12143 and I discussed several names for the team. We had a small focus group representing several different demographics. We found that Seawolf or Seawolves had high ratings in the group . The name is popular in professional sports and symbolizes what the great city of Norfolk is all about

While Mr. Oles and I play professionally as defensive players, we understand that the success and development of players on both sides of the ball are both equally important. That said our experiences as defensive players will undoubtedly aid our players on that side of the ball

As Perry said we went through multiple names before finding the one that fit. As for our stance on offense and defense we are working towards making the best team we can, and until we have a full view of the prospect field it will be hard to tell what direction the team goes in.

While the draft will undoubtedly affect your team identity, every team is already putting together a core concept.  How did you feel about the players you signed already and did you bring them in with a specific identity in mind?

We feel like we're building a team that will be dangerous on both sides of the ball, it's hard to tell still with the draft so far away and games still nowhere close to being played. At this point we're just trying to build the best team we can, and will probably stick with that method for the foreseeable future.
