If you ask any NSFL fans, they will tell you two teams are on the verge of a breakout season; the Liberty and the San Jose Sabercats. Good news, season 3 rookies, the San Jose Sabercats are hiring and this is your chance to get in on the ground floor.
You may look at the record of the San Jose Sabercats and go, ok hold up, they set the record for longest losing streak this season, there’s no way this team is on the up-and-up. I’m here and they are. Everything that could go wrong last season did, heck we http://nsfl.jcink.net/index.php?showtopic=3491]opened our recruitment to the public and it ended terribly[/url]. But I am not here to talk about the past, I’m here to talk about the present and future, and why rookies of the third season should join us in San Jose.
First of all, our offense is amazing. For the start of the season, our man Ethan Hunt looked like the best QB out there, and for good reason, he is an amazing QB who knows how to play well. Our wide receiver duo of Weston and Smallwood is also something that CBs can fret over, Weston has the second surest hand s in the league, and Smallwood is a yardage monster. Our Running back duo of, Druden and Diaz, we call the silent killers because he puts up numbers and does it while everyone else is fawning over running backs. No pair complements each other better. And who can forgot our line. Ben Longshaw faced internent outage for a month and still is considered one of top linemen of the season, which means that Jordan Yates and Vincent Sharpei could easily pass him next season as two great anchors of the line.
Now, our defense may not be perfect, but it’s also amazing. Dan Miller is easily one people forget about, which is a mistake, because QBs often eat the dirt a second later. Same could be said for the man Okonkwo. Our linebacker of Luke Chunk has become a monster and made us forget who we traded away. What about our back? We have Clee Hardrool and Ja Brill who make up easily one of the best safety duos in the league. Finally, people always ask, do we have a Darrelle Revis-like island in the league? The answer is John Canton. No man has deflected more coming his way, you cannot escape from him or his abilities. Finally, we got one of the best management teams in the league, a 1-2 punch of CK Royal and Lord Nibbler, our Lord and Savior. CK Royal is the most diligent GM I know, I ask him a player and he’s got the numbers, stats and requirements to get him already figured out. He knows every move being made and does the most for the team. Nibbler is new to the GM game, but that god-like-being has stats and figures for days and is ready to shine.
All this is well and good but doesn’t answer:
WHY YOU SHOULD JOIN THE SAN JOSE SABERCATS
Because of the way the draft works, not everyone will. But we’re looking for interested prospects who are ready to work hard and play hard. We don’t want people giving up halfway through the season, we want people who are hungry and ready to work. Unseating the Outlaws will not happen overnight, but it will happen, and the San Jose Sabercats have the formula to do so. If you are selected by the San Jose Sabercats, here’s what you will be met with:
Great atmosphere
We’ve seen the hard times, and we know that tearing at each other doesn’t work, it’s just a sign that we need to be more resilient and do more, and the San Jose Sabercats have a great and friendly atmosphere designed to help new players while also driving to win.
Best Camaraderie
I don’t know if you know this, but I used to play for the Wraiths. And while it’s true that the Wraiths can boast about their locker room pages after pages, they cannot boast about the team activities like the San Jose Sabercats do. We have a discord and through it we have had some crazy and weird nights talking into the late hours.
• We got a fantasy football league going
• We play Heroes of the Storm and Overwatch with each other
• We compare favorite beers
• We complain about our NFL Teams whether it’s the Saints, Jets, Lions, Bears or another one
• We just ramble about stuff
We’re not just a team, we’re a family and we know the bonds between us will only help the team grow.
A Community-Based Organization
CK Royal and Lord Nibbler, our lord and savior, may call the shots, but we accept input and otherwise. Someone had an idea for a page on the discord to make people aware of available point tasks, we did it. Denzel Diaz is helping with player scouting. We know it’s a team effort and putting it all on CK Royal is not fair to him or the team. So we all do what we can to ensure the team is the best it can be. And that means we all pitch in and work together.
Think the ‘Cat s are where you want to go? Great. You can post your interest here on the recruitment thread
There’s no team I believe in more than the San Jose Sabercats. They say the measure of a person is by how well they handle adversity. The San Jose Sabercats have seen their first GM disappear in a freak internet outage, had their best wide receiver demand a transfer and watched a hot start of the season fizzle out. That said, we’re back, and stronger than ever and the San Jose Sabercats are coming back with a Roar. We’re going to be the team on everyone’s lips next year, just you wait.
Please send 1mil to my man and GM Ckroyal92, he’s earned it for building a great foundation to a great team.
