There have been many recruitment threads for this upcoming season. Teams have talked about how they are "up and coming" or how they have turtle races. If you're in the NSFL tovrace turtles then be my guest, but if you're in the NSFL to be part of a winning team, have active, helpful teammates and be part of the best turn around in the brief NSFL history, Baltimore is the place for you. There are many reasons you should want to come to Baltimore.
BEST POSITION TO BEAT THE OUTLAWS
Look, in the NSFL every team is trying to catch the jugarnaut. There's no doubt the Outlaws are the team to beat in the NSFL. They are the best team right now and set up for the future with their draft picks. But there's no fun in joining the Outlaws. You're in a lose lose position. Either you win the title (which isn't much of an accomplishment on a team with two already) or you're the Rookie Class that ruined their streak. The Otters, SaberCats and Legion have to deal with that in their division. The Outlaws went 9-0 in their division this year and the Hawks were one of only two teams to beat them. The Otters in fact lost to the Outlaws all three times they faced them. In Baltimore we have a lot of young improving guys who will be better next year, and we have the best chance to beat the Outlaws. While many will point to the Ultimus fame, road games in the NSFL are very tough. The Hawks went 8-0 at home this season, and if the Ultimus were at a neutral field (like it might be next year) the Hawks would no doubt have been closer and could have even won
WE ARE THE BEST NSFC TEAM
The Hawks are the defending NSFC champions after being the worst team in the conference last year. The Hawks also have an easy path to improvement this year. By Yardage the Hawks had the second best offense and second best defense in the league. The Hawks had red zone troubles, but with improvement of players already here, and a few season 3 rookies the Hawks are going to be even better than last year. There's no doubt the Hawks are the team to beat in the NSFC.
OUR LOCKER ROOM IS COHESIVE AND HELPFUL.
Every team is gonna say their locker room is the best, but ours really is. Our team is super close, and lead by our captain Hendrix it's incredibly helpful for new players. I know that for me and many other Hawks it's our first sim league, and I felt lost when I first got drafted, but Hendrix and the rest of the crew was super helpful. Now that I'm experienced and many others are we got a whole squad that's ready to help new people
THE HAWKS ARE LOYAL
The Hawks as a team are a loyal group. Division Rival Yellowknife traded away a super active player (Smallwood) to a rebuilding team for a minor upgrade. Our team would not do that. We havent made any trades since last offseaso, and ditching a guy committed to a team like Smallwood was is not a Baltimore move.
I honestly could keep going and going. The Hawks are in a perfect spot for a season 3 Rookie, we're on the rise and yet already Conference Champs. If any season three rookies or anyone really has questions about being in Baltimore, feel free to hit me up. I'm really excited for the next season in Baltimore, big things are coming.
