The issue was brought to the attention of the head office on September 10, 2017. The head office immediately began an investigation to collect evidence and build a case to identify instances of cheating. Following this process enough proof was collected for the head office to make the following ruling.
It was discovered that Noble had used his commissioner powers to edit TPE claim threads and point task threads to give himself additional TPE and modify his point tasks with his commissioner powers and then delete the logs of these changes. Following verification with a historical list of the TPE awarded in each claim thread originally, it was determined Noble illegally gave himself 73 TPE in this manner.
Noble’s history and reputation from other simulation communities is well known throughout this community. However, the league believed in giving people the opportunity at second chances and after Noble’s hard work and commitment to the league it was believed he had earned the opportunity to serve as a commissioner in the NSFL.
The head office is extremely disappointed in Noble’s inability to live up to the expectations and dignity of the office of commissioner. Noble exhibited a failure to respect the level-playing field of the league and the hard work and mutual respect put forth by this community.
Moving forward no member will be able to edit a post without leaving a trail. All members of the forums will now see an edited by tagline in any post the edit. There are no exceptions to this rule to prevent any abuses of power in the future.
The head office understands this will be a major blow to the Colorado Yeti franchise. However, the gravity of the situation warranted a harsh response. Issues of cheating are detrimental to the entire league and will not be tolerated. The head office believes the aforementioned punishment is suitable to discourage and prevent any future instances of cheating in the NSFL.
Noble will receive the following punishment for cheating and abuse of commissioner powers:
· Two week full-ban from the site
· Logan Noble suspended for entirety of season 3
· $10,000,000 fine
· 73 TPE penalty
· Banned from all league jobs until season 8. After that time he may reapply for positions at the discretion of the head office
*For anyone concerned about fantasy, if they drafted Logan Noble they may drop him and add a new QB immediately. @ADwyer87
