Recently, we learned that the rules don’t apply to you if you have enough money. Congrats to head office for keeping it realistic since I think this also applies to NFL players in real life. With that said, I realize I am just a common man with a meager bank account. I am held accountable for my actions and that’s only fair because I could be penalized and I would suffer from the punishment. Well not anymore. Welcome to my 300 part series on the pursuit of invincibility. In this series, I plan to mostly write non-sense since it all pays the same as I strive to grow my bank account and overall privilege and immunity within the league.
At first I thought, what is the best way to make money here? I already hold a league job, co-GM a team, write a little media, participate in fantasy, and occasionally dabble in graphics. Would this be enough to say “I’ve done a ton for the league” so the head office would decide to show me leniency? Not likely. I considered other avenues to help build my virtual wealth. I then came up with the idea that I got from a movie that got the idea from another movie but I digress. Working the bank, we process hundreds of transactions a week. I could set up a code where every time there’s a bank transaction, and there is some every day, we end up with these fractions of a cent which is usually rounded off but with this code, it would take those little remainders and put it into my account. You would think people for check for this kind of thing but here’s the thing, they can’t. Head office would be left with thumbs up their asses. I can already hear the people talking, “So, you’re stealing?” Umm, no. You don’t understand. It’s really complicated. Its aggregate so I’m talking about fractions of a penny here. Now, over time, they would add up to a lot. And you say, “How is that not stealing?” I don’t think that I’m explaining this very well. Either way, it has to work.
Now, this notion may sound like a stretch and spoken like a true villain as I explain my entire plot before trying to execute it just to have it foiled at the last minute by our chosen hero. I don’t expect that to be the case. We have seen it demonstrated time and time again that the head office in no way wants to proactively get ahead of any potential issue. This is good news for us evil do-ERs. ? See what I did there?
Damn, now I am completely off topic. That’s ok, I think. By this point nobody is reading this so I can probably just ramble on to that sweet, sweet 600 word count bonus. The more I think about this, a 300 part series is going to take a lot of time. Oh well, it will all be worth it. Would you look at that, already to 510 words. I guess I can use this last little bit to throw out a hot take. That seems to be all the rage here lately. First, let’s congratulate Keygan on the new head simmer role. It sounds like both a blessing and a curse. Not to put any wind into crazy ass Adam’s sail but I am calling it now. Legion to be 3-peat champions starting in S6. I’ll give him the rest of S4 and all of S5 to hone in on his rigging craft. You can’t learn that shit overnight you know. Boom, 605 words right there. Be on the lookout for part 2 of 330: The Pursuit of Invincibility. I am not sure what topics will be covered but that’s half the fun, right?
