Ayo! It’s Bobby Ruckus back again and ready with a heavy Ruckus review of the DSFL Week 4! I’m going to rank the teams in the DSFL right now and how things are going for each team. Leeeeet’s go!!!
San Antonio Marshals
GMs: Master Worlock (kckolbe) and Scratchin’ Magician (Roly)
The scratchin’ magician hasn’t reappeared since his great disappearing act last season, but the Worlock is a master for a real fuckin’ reason and that’s why the Marshals are 4 and 0 right now. They had a couple close wins against Palm Beach in week 1, but absolutely curb stomped Norfolk and took their lunch money in the process. San Antonio looks unstoppable and the mack truck run game of Nyquist and Bush keeps truckin’ on. They stole 2 games on the road too and from what I can tell about this sim, that’s a big fuckin’ deal. Who knows if they can continue the streak, but they’ll probably stomp Kansas City and Tijuana against in the next few games.
Portland Pythons
GMs: Tha Overlord (pdxballer) and Bittah Specialist (JohnWachter)
I had to put my team up for number 2. We have the next best points for and points against ratio at 71-69 and crushed Palm Beach on the road while pulling out a close win against Tijuana. We had a slow start because of depth chart problems and player issues, but we’re close to getting all that worked out when I last spoke with Tha Overlord. Things are looking up with 2 home games in the next few weeks so we should bounce back like Big Sean.
Kansas City Coyotes
GMs: Arrogant Beggar (jiggly) and Insane Knight (124715)
I had to keep the Kansas City because I actually like the city and visited many times growing up while I lived in St. Louis. Coyotes have been going 1-1 every sim day and they looked good against the Pythons and Norfolk at home. Borkus Maximus is throwing pretty decent and the dude is 4 touchdowns in with only 2 interceptions. Coyotes have a pretty active roster too so they should be shooting up the rankings soon with a couple more wins. I don’t think they have a great linebacker group and if Tijuana couldn’t stop San Antonio with Mills and Enchant…I don’t see how in the flying fuck the Coyotes can beat them at home in week 5.
Tijuana Luchadores
GMs: Annoyin’ Ambassador (loco) and Smilin’ Leader (jaskins811)
Tijuana started off the season hot with a pounding of Kansas City and Palm Beach at home, but they’ve fizzled out real fuckin’ quick the last 2 weeks. Their early season waiver pickup of Asipi Jr. hasn’t really helped and the kid isn’t living up to the hype of his dad. Asipi Jr. is the worst quarterback in the DSFL with only 2 touchdowns and the lowest completions and yardage out of all the quarterbacks (even the goddamn bots are destroying him in stats). Their defense is their saving grace since they have a fuckin’ 2 headed monster with Mills and Enchant.
Norfolk Seawolves
GM: Crazy Knight (run_cmc)
The Crazy Knight is doing….OKAAAYYY as a new GM for some hunks of metal. They beat my Pythons at home in week 1 and split some games with Kansas City later in the week while losing to San Antonio at home. I think Norfolk has the right players built out and will probably surprise a lot of people this season when they make the playoffs (you heard it here first kiddos). They don’t have much of a receiver group, but have a good quarterback. Washington doesn’t have a hand cannon or power, but he’s got that laser focus and ties for most touchdowns right now. I’m hoping they don’t make it out of Portland with a W next week.
Palm Beach Solar Bears
GM: Midnight Madman (PoloPro)
The Madman has architected an…interesting team to say the least. They are 0 and 4 right now to start the season and can’t seem to pull it together. They only came close to beating San Antonio. Their defense is actually pretty dope. They have the most tackles, tackles for loss, and tie Tijuana for most sacks at 14. Unfortunately their quarterback sucks balls with 6 interceptions and a weak ass 44.5% completion rate. He’s lucky that their star receiver Gault wasn’t programmed with artificial intelligence and can’t think on his own because that bot would have left Palm Beach after week 2.
