Well today is game day. I'm hoping I have some good games today. I'll be sure to let you know how that goes afterwards. But before I have to report to the stadium for the game I'll write a journal entry. So I'll pick up here from where I left off in my last journal entry. I've just graduated high school and peices are starting to fall into place. I'm ready to go and attended the university of Cincinnati this year. Since of course football starts earlier than the school year I have to be there early to start. I am getting a dorm although I could of stayed home since my dads house is no longer than about twenty five minutes away. But it was included with my scholarship so I took it. They let us football players move in early since we had to be there super early for practice. Camp started and ended pretty much the same way every day. They were twelve hour long days. The first four hours we would lift weights and exercise. The next four hours was a mix of working with your position couch and learning the play book. And the last four hours was putting the whole team together and running plays. The blocks weren't really four hours each. More like three because we always got an hour break for food in-between each block. I came in as a true freshman and was poised to start at tight end. I was pretty excited to play in the huge shoes left by Travis kelce. Now if you don't remember anything about the university of Cincinnati football I will remind you real quick. They haven't been a very good football team almost ever. But they always have excellent players that make it into the national football league. I hate to break it to my future self but my next four years didn't go much differently with the university of Cincinnati Bearcats football team. I won't go through every season with you because there isn't very many highlights or super special moments to go over. College was a very stressful time for me. Trying to be a chemical engineer and playing football was tough. I managed to make it though. I had a very excellent college career (which is why I got drafted by the Portland Pythons). I raked up some serious yards and touchdowns. I broke the school record for most touchdowns in a single season and most over all. Unfortunately that didn't seem to mean much during the games because at most we only won five to six games a season. I may be sounding like a downer now but make no mistake I had a lot of fun playing their and I don't regret a thing about attending. I will always love the university of Cincinnati Bearcats. Whether it's football baseball or basketball. Plus I of course met the love of my life their my senior year. I ended up finishing with a master's degree in chemical engineering in my time at the university of Cincinnati. That was just as challenging as playing football. For those who wanted to know, Charlie Kelly in fact was my starting quarterback at the university of Cincinnati. Trust me when I say our offense was not the the problem at the university of Cincinnati. It was most definitely our defenses fault. The teams we faced always score at least forty points a game with us. Our special teams was a problem too. Averaging one touchdown on kickoffs a game. Most in NCAA history. But like I said it was fun and one hell of a ride.
