Written: Must Include 150 Words. There are plenty of performances and players so far that could be on pace for record breaking seasons. With the early part of the season over and teams taking shape, write about someone who could very well break a record when the season comes to an end.

Right now, one of the records that is a bit more under the radar is the passing TDs record for a season. Set by King Bronko, 44 TDs is the current record that QBs are aiming for if they want to break this record. We have seen 3 QBs get off to a great start for touchdowns, and any one of the 3 could easily break the TD record. Right now, Avon Blocksdale is at 16 TDs, Mike Boss is at 19 TDs, and Tyler Oles is at 20 TDs. Oles is on pace to set the new record in passing TDs, on pace to throw for 46 TDs on the season. This record will be an interesting one to watch going forward, as Boss or Blocksdale could easily have high TD games and take the lead, with both of them in high profile passing offenses with plenty of weapons available at their disposal. Kickers aren't usually the most glamorous of players in the NSFL or DSFL, but with the under the radar addition of Kyle Corbett, Tijuana begs to differ. Corbett is playing out of his mind, breaking the record for most FG attempts in a game with eight and most FG makes in a game with seven already in week two against the Palm Beach Solar Bears. I truthfully and honestly believe that Corbett could break both the FG attempts and FG made record. He's already got 19 made and 20 attempted and it's only week 7. With how Tijuana is playing and how Corbett is kicking, Corbett is pretty much surprisingly becoming a huge weapon of theirs. I think we'll see many more field goals from this kid and he is already shaping up to be a really exciting prospect that will for sure be picked up early in this years NSFL draft.

I guess its time to type up 150 words worth of beating a dead horse. Kyle Corbett is on pace to absolutely smash the DSFL record for Field Goals made in a single season. The DSFL season has a total of 14 weeks in its regular season. Through just six of those weeks, Kyle Corbett has completed an astonishing 19 field goals in just 20 attempts. With more than half of the regular season still awaiting Corbett and his fellow Tijuana Luchadores, Corbett happens to be just 9 field goals away from tying the DSFL record. If he can make just 10 in his final 8 games, which is a little more than 1 field goal per game, he will officially break the DSFL record. Considering what Corbett has done thus far in the season, he appears to be primed and ready to smash the current record of 28. At this rate, nothing is standing in Corbett's way of the record.

One record that I'm keeping an eye on is the most catches in a DSFL season. The current record is 95 catches, set by Portland Pythons wide receiver John Wachter back in Season 4. The player that could possibly break that record is Luchadores wide receiver Xavier Flash. In his first game in the DSFL, Flash tied a single game record with 10 catches. That game was the start of quite a run for Flash. In 6 games, Flash has 39 catches. With 8 games remaining, Xavier needs to get 56 catches, averaging out to 7 catches a game. Right now, he's averaging 6.5 catches per game. It's not out of the realm of possibility that Flash could increase that average and get to the record. He's going to keep improving and as long as his quarterback has trust in him, he's going to get his opportunities. It's now up to Xavier Flash if he wants to enter the DSFL record books.

This season, the Outlaws have been leaning heavily on their running game, which has put a lot of work on the shoulders of Reg Mackworthy. So far Mackworthy has had 182 carries in 6 games, which gives him an average of 30.3 carries per game and puts him on pace for 424.7 carries this season. If he keeps up this pace, he will break the current record of 409 carries in a season. But he isn't just getting high volume as he is also making good use of his carries. So far Mackworthy has 704 yards in his 6 games. This gives him an average of 117.3 yards per game and puts him on pace for 1642.7 rushing yards this season, which would destroy the previous single season record of 1402 rushing yards. Even after experiencing regression, Mackworthy is in the midst of a historic season. Mackworthy is a player to watch this year as he may be breaking some records by the time the season is over.

The Arizona Outlaws' running back Reg Mackworthy looks on track to break the record for rushing attempts in a season. The current record is held by Ardie Savea, with 409, followed up by Colorado's own hero Boss Tweed with 400. Savea's total works out to just over 29 carries a game - a hefty workload for any player. With 6 games gone in this season, Mackworthy currently sits at 182 attempts, 43 more than Darren Smallwood, Savea's replacement at running back, and a little under 7 attempts ahead of the record-breaking average of 29ish attempts per game up until this point. If he keeps up this pace - which I imagine the Outlaws will ensure happens - he's a lock to have his name in the record books come season's end. It doesn’t stop there, though. The current rushing yards record in a season is held by Owen Taylor at 1402 – a little over 100 yards per game. With 704 yards so far this season (an average of around 117 per game), Mackworthy looks likely to break that record, too.

Mike Boss is staring a few records down at the moment. First off he already owns many of the season records and adding another one will only do more to secure his spot in the hall-of-fame as quite possibly the greatest quarterback of this generation. The records Boss is looking at breaking this season are total touchdowns in a season, and passer rating in a season. Boss used to own the touchdown record but it was broken by King Bronko sometime around S4. Boss is on pace for 46 TDs, but he is going to struggle to keep up this pace in the back half of the season against much better teams. Then we have passer rating. Boss is playing out of his mind right now in his first season of regression and has not tossed a pick in over 250 pass attempts. The passer rating record at this time is 103, set by the man himself. But he is sitting at an ungodly 110 passer rating at the moment, and if he can keep up this kind of production we could potentially have a a record that would go unbroken for many, many seasons.

Borkus Maximus III is on track to setting the official NSFL record for being the most disappointing and underperforming pathetic excuse for a professional quarterback ever in the history of the NSFL. This bum has the same passing attributes as Akselsen but is performing terribly. He has the worst completion percentage is the league (worse than a rookie QBs!) and is touting a disappointing 72.2 QBR. That's almost in the 60s. As a 3rd year QB this frankly is not very acceptable no siree. Borkus has been single handidly holding back NOLA's offense and, in effect, the entire team, holding them to a 2-4 season in what should be their prime break out year. The ASFC is weak but apparently Borkus Maximus III is not ready to take advantage of that fact quite yet. This is disappointing and actually it is super disappointing so he is probably setting the subjective record as the most disappointing player ever.
