*The truth about S8 Fantasy

So I've discovered a truth to the S8 fantasy standings results, and it will shock you all.

First, let's look at the fantasy rankings:



Does this shock you? Of course, it doesn't; I have to explain it to you first. The top four users all start with the letter 'b', and three of the next four start with 'a'. The truth is staring you in the face and you're too scared to say the answer!

But this is statistical analysis you say, where are the stats to back up your claims? Fear not, for I do have such a formula at my disposal. I call it the law of superiority in reversed rankings. Now there are two ways you can go about playing this law

1) In a 1-indexed, sorted array of n elements, with a lower number determining a higher rank, take the 1st element and assign it the value of n, take the 2nd element and assign it the value of n-1. This will continue until all elements are given their proper value. Now sort and average these values in whichever way suits your data, with the result being a higher number is superior.

2) In a 1-indexed, sorted array of n elements, with a lower number determining a higher rank, take the nth element and assign it the value of n. Sort and average these values as in the first method and with the result being a lower number is superior.

So let's go with the first method since it is obviously superior

1st Place bwestfield = 10
2nd Place bayleyisland = 9
3rd Place bzerkap = 8
4th Place bovovovo = 7
5th Place adam2552 = 6
6th Place AsylumParty = 5
7th Place Swagsloth = 4
8th Place AdamS = 3
9th Place Mark D. = 2
10th Place dub = 1

B names = (10 + 9 + 8 + 7) / 4 = 8.5
A names = (6 + 5 + 3) / 3 = 4.667
S names = 4 = 4
M names = 2 = 2
D names = 1 = 1

So as you can see it is quite obvious that B names are far superior, with A names far behind but not far behind them are the S names.
