Has there ever been an easier question asked? If I could only play with one other NSFL player, past or present, it would certainly be the legendary cornerback Ezekiel “Easy” Bishop. The guy is a legend. He embodies everything that the NSFL is, ever was, and ever will be. For those who haven’t heard the story of Ezekiel “Easy” Bishop, he was this league’s first tragic retirement. Ezekiel “Easy” Bishop grew up in inner-city Chicago. He was a star basketball prospect, even walking on to the Duke University team. However, his lack of a growth spurt quickly saw his basketball dreams go up in flames. The young man then transferred to Northern Illinois University where he played his first year of college football. Ezekiel “Easy” Bishop’s NSFL career ended before it even began though. Through a tragic set of circumstances, Bishop retired just days before the NSFL draft. The cornerback legend has never played a snap, made a tackle, forced a fumble, defended a pass, intercepted a pass, returned a kick, scored a touchdown, etc. However, despite his lack of accomplishments off the field almost everyone knows his name. He is the greatest. I would be honored to share the field with this man and let Ezekiel “Easy” Bishop take his first NSFL snap and further his legendary status on the field. As stated on the S1 Colorado Yeti Interested Prospects post, one of his goals was to “end up in the hall of fame as the greatest CB in history.” It would be great to be a part of a redemption story like that and help him achieve his goal. To a career that ended too soon...

There are a couple of teams Jayce Tuck would enjoy playing for and he will cover each of them here. The first is a team that is from his hometown and original stomping ground in the California Bay Area. The San Jose Sabercats are a local team that Jayce watched growing up and has considered joining on a team friendly, home town discount deal on several occasions. But it was not meant to be and something that never really came to fruition. At this stage in Jayce’s career it does not look like it is ever likely to happen.
There a few other teams around the league that caught Jayce’s interest over the years, but the one that leads the back if he were to hit free agency today would not be one he watched when he was coming up in the league, but one that is fresh and exciting, the New Orleans Second Line. The New Orleans based franchise is appealing to Jayce Tuck for a variety of reasons. The first and probably most significant is that they are the underdogs. Jayce Tuck would like to bring his experience and skills to a team that has had some struggles winning games and putting talent together. That coupled with good leadership and enthusiastic young players is something that resonates with how Jayce Tuck would like to end his career. [div align=\"center\"]

Thanks @Bzerkap on the non-tampering idea way out of this.
Somebody once told me the Legion were gonna fold They weren't the best team in the league They were looking kind of dumb with their logo and their town In the shape of an "L" on their scoreboard Well the players start coming and the draft picks stop coming Fed to the rules and Ben hit the ground running Didn't make sense not to live for fun You head to Europe but your Co takes over So much to do, so much to see So what's wrong with taking a two month break? You'll never know if you don't go You'll never shine if you don't glow Hey now, you're a Legion, get your game on, go play Hey now, you're retired, get ThunderDomed, get banned And all that Keygan is gold Only shooting stars break the mold It's a hot place and they say it gets hotter You're gambling now, wait till you get broker But the Bovovo man beg to differ Judging by the hole in the roster picture The sand we see is getting pretty course The alcohol's getting drunk so you might as well move My world's on fire, how about Nola? That's the way Bovo likes it and you'll never get bored Hey now, you're in Nola, get your game on, go play Hey now, you're the new GM, get the sim on, get paid All Bovo touches is gold Only 2nd liners break the mold Somebody once asked could I be traded to the Liners? I need to get myself away from this place I said yep what a concept I could use a little dancing myself And we could all win a couple games Well, the rings start coming and they don't stop coming screw the rules and keep the dynasty running Didn't make sense not to Resign there Bovo is smart but Keygan is dumb So much to win, so much to see So what's wrong with getting traded to Nola? You'll never win if you don't go (go!) Yeti never win if you didn't know Hey now, you're in Nola, get your game on, go play Hey now, you're a Liner, get your contract signed, get paid And all Bovo touches is gold Only 2nd liners break the mold And all Bovo touches is gold Only 2nd liners break the mold ![]() ![]()
If the Otters were able to add in a new piece to the team we would look to inject some youth to the offensive side of the ball. Right now with so much riding on our season one guys on offensive and regression hitting next season we desperately need some young talented players to help us continue to stay competitive for the next few seasons. The spot we could probably use the most help in would be tight end. Having been stuck with an inactive tight end for several seasons now just about any active would be a huge upgrade for us. But long-term we need to find someone to replace Robert Phelps and Bradley Westfield at wide receiver. So, to solve those offensive woes the Otters would look to add former first overall pick tight end Carlito Crush.
This guy could easily be the future of the passing game in Orange County. Sure we have to figure out our successor to Mike Boss as well, but whoever ends up taking over the reins from the goat is going to need a reliable pair of hands for the next few seasons as he develops, and a guy like Crush is perfect. Long-term we would look to move him outside where we would be far more effective in the passing game, maybe even getting him to drop weight and become a full-time wide receiver. With that kind of work ethic and the Orange County air raid offense he could easily become the best receiver in the league. ![]() Hank Winchester (S25 - Current) - Scrub

Owen Taylor of Baltimore. I know that I'm a wide receiver, but I've always been a fan of bringing outside influence into a traditional training to be worthwhile for all involved. I remember hearing about linemen taking martial arts classes to better their hands, running backs working with receivers to become more rounded, linebackers working with receivers to increase their skill at coverage.
Bringing in outside influence diversifies and creates a better player. I'd like to work with Owen Taylor. This would improve my game in terms of yards after catch, how to better block, and how to punish cornerbacks. ![]() WR/RB | Portland Pythons | Colorado Yeti Star RB | Awards Committee Member
If Applehort wasn't on the Yeti (Which won't happen), where would he want to be playing for?
Well, the answer is in NOLA. The Second Line is probably the second best locker room in the NSFL. Actually scratch that, it IS the second best LR in the NSFL. They're a bunch of chill dudes who I've connected with in some form through sim leagues, such as @bovo (Wraiths days), @AdamS SBA mainly, @speculadora (Pythons Boss) and more. Also, looking at their articles, they probably have the second best shitposting skills in the league (I'm looking out for you @Supersquare04 my man lol). The only problem would be that it would ensue a positional fight for quarterback with Maximus and Applehort fighting to the death for the starting QB role. And knowing Applehort's 2 (! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !) reps at the combine, it won't end well. At least they'd hold a funeral for Appleman (Maybe). Another team I'd like to go to is Philly. These guys take everything seriously and I love it. Overall, they have a good team too, so when Oles-man retires I'd be willing to pick up right where he left off and be good. Yes. Also I'd throw the ball better so where Josh Garden (bum) wouldn't drop it. Yes.
Verso L'Alto is super pumped to be playing with the Baltimore Hawks despite the somewhat disappointing season so far (good for the NSFC, bad for the Hawks). If he could make one change to the team, however, he would like to add none other than the first introduction he had to the NSFL: @PDXBaller (Eli Kamaka) himself. It seems that Verso L'Alto have spent the last season and a half passing each other like two ships in the night, never destined for their fated rendezvous. It all started with PDX being the first one who reached out to him when he joined the site. PDX assured L'Alto that he would try his hardest to pick him up off waivers and was "potentially in trade talks" to attain the rites to L'Alto. Then, just as L'Alto was drafted by the Hawks and nunccoepi became a GM of the Tijuana Luchadores, PDX left DSFL GM-hood for "hopefully bigger and better things". Now, L'Alto's only hope is for Eli Kamaka to come to Baltimore after all so that he can finally have a worthy opponent to run against in practice. Of course it goes without saying that Kamaka would provide incredible value, not just off the line but in his knowledge of the sim and leadership abilities as well (because obviously the Hawks don't have enough leadership positions represented on the team).

I like taking the field with talented players, who doesn't? I'm getting old, as I'm in the twilight of my career I often think of how my beloved Hawks will be once I hang up the cleats. I look at the team and there are young studs spread throughout the lineup, but one guy that I think would help carry the team into the future would be Carlito Crush @JKortesi81 . Yes, the Hawks currently have a great rookie TE, however, I think Crush would be a matchup nightmare on the outside lined up at WR. He would bulldoze those tiny CBs on his way to the end zone. I also respect players that have to fight through adversity early in their careers, I believe that builds character, and nobody has dealt with more pain and suffering that Colorado players. That would be an offensive option, a great choice on the defensive side would be Eli Kamaka @PDXBaller. He could anchor the defensive line after my old ass retires. I could see him using his 450 pound frame to occupy blockers as the Hawks LBs and safeties fly around and make plays. These players are also high character individuals as well. Their greatness doesn't stop once they leave the field of play. (212)
On a local radio station, Charlie Law is answering questions.
Host- Charlie, any comments on the Smitfter story that broke about him being caught at an orgy? Sources claim you were there. Charlie- I was. I was checking out the venue for a future wedding reception. Found the caterer, too. Who knew orgies got catered? Host- Did you.....participate? Charlie- Nope. Observer only. And observing poor Smifty TRY to participate was just......there aren't words. Host- Are you worried about backlash for this form the team or the league? Law just giggles. Charlie- Not really no. This league mostly stays out of the way of it's players and the Second Line isn't exactly trying to BE a Disney organization to begin with. Plus, I think everyone knows by now what I am. I'm versatile. I mean, I'm on Sesame Street next week. Host- So let's talk about the trade deadline. It's in a couple days and I have to wonder if there's anyone you'd love to see join the Second Line. Charlie- Well of course. There's always people you'd like to see. Dermot Levelle is a guy I love and respect. He'd be great. It's just highly unlikely it happens. That's the thing. Speculation is all well and good but it would be tough to see how something like that happens. But I mean, if we wanted to go a bit more realistic I'd talk about Nick Pierno. he's a guy I've always respect for his tough journey and now that he's moved to the d-line, he's been successful getting to the quarterback and really giving himself a great shot at a second half of his career where he's not the butt of cheap jokes. I respect the hell out of what he's done to fight through it all his entire career while getting dumped on for things that weren't really his fault to begin with. C.A. is another one. We could bring back the trio of Dustin, him, and I and see if we could get crazy together for a few more years. I can't imagine a single defensive coordinator who'd be happy to see that squad reunited. Host- All right. A lot of insight and as usual, blunt and honest. It's one of the reasons I think this city has embraced you this season. Charlie- They still haven't stopped handing me alcohol. Po Boys now, too. It's...it's the opposite of a problem. Host- Gotta love this city. Now let's take a few callers. First up. You're on the air with Charlie Law. Caller- Did i read right that your old team's former owner got run over by a tractor? ....... ![]() ![]() [OPTION]Balanced || 6'5'' || 265 lbs || #77
