Edit - but what about playoffs? What if those bot teams end up with a better record than one of the four user teams?
I thought about that. The best ideas I had were:
Make 8 teams with 4 being bots. You can make 2 bot teams go to the playoffs every year, lose to the two normal playoff teams who will face off in a championship.
Go with 6 teams. I can make the bot teams both go 50%, If two teams in your conference/division go over 50% two will go to the playoffs, otherwise it'll be the top one and a bot team, similar to above.

Ia there no way we can force playoff seeds, so regardless of record we choose who is in the playoffs?
Otherwise it's a no go. Those ideas you mentioned don't work for me because it's got to be set up so that if there are four user teams those four teams make the playoffs every year.

I tried finding a way to force whatever teams we wanted into the playoffs and I don't think it's possible.

One benefit of six player owned teams would be there are more openings for people to try their hand at being a GM. There would also be opportunities for more QBs to start, etc.
We could also relegate inactives under the TPE cap back to the DSFL to fill spots on teams, that could be a bit better than bots?

That sounds good to me. The only issue is currently a lot of teams are using inactives as like a minor step up from a bot to fill in rosters. If those players get relegated back to the minor league, would bots in the majors need to be slightly buffed to be stronger then a completely inactive player?
