In Baltimore, we have several new faces joining our roster for S6. During the off season we were able to acquire Noah Goodson in a trade with Arizona. He joins our team as a starting LB and fills a huge need for us. His presence in our locker room has been a welcoming addition and I am excited for addition in our previously struggling front 7.
Joining him in the LB corps is controversial first round draft pick, Austin Roenick. After lighting up the score board in his DSFL rookie season as QB, he spent his off-season conditioning to become a bruiser along-side Goodson. Bulking up and switching to the defensive side of the ball has been a godsend for us. Adding 2 active LBs to our already effective secondary gives that that much more of a chance to succeed.
Another exciting addition to the Hawks’ roster was the late round pick for Michael Vick. Although he is being sent back down to the DSFL for another season to hone and groom his craft, he is still a part of the Hawks’ locker room and as everyone knows, activity breeds activity. The S6 season is starting off on the right path for Baltimore and they control their own destiny.
