The whole money thing in general is a little broken. You won't get people looking for more money until money isn't easy to get anymore. And I don't think there's an easy way to fix it.

I also just signed a 3 year extension for 2M. And, like majesiu, I made sure to sign it before I hit the 599 cap so that I could stay at my contract minimum. I think that's just smart playing on the part of the player/GM. Like, the tiers are there right now in order to prevent too much abuse. I'm not sure that its currently being abused right now though.

It IS smart on both parts, which is why I made a point to say I would do it as well. However, the tiers do allow abuse. The point of a cap is to balance talent, and this does not do that, as top tier players cost as much as a DSFL player.
