That's a MASSIVE stretch. His run blocking was 55 and pass blocking was 50. I'd hardly qualify that as "an excellent blocker." Even if he was maxed out (he wasn't), to say the Hawks won the NSFC because of one average blocker is asinine.

Hawks had the same number of wins as Yellowknife and multiple one possession wins with Gibson, who was higher in everything but hands. When your team is a punt away from not winning the conference, it's not a massive stretch.
