Title is misleading.  He technically spent the exact amount of TPE that he had, it was just in more useful stats than tackling and blocking.

The precedent to go to 50 TPE was set by a player that hadn't actually earned any TPE, and should not apply here.

You're just arguing semantics.

This oversight was missed by me as a GM, Spec as a GM, Westy himself as a GM, TC as OCO Consigliere, whoever our updaters have been (too many to count), including in emergencies, Bovo and I believe Bzerkap and Oles.  Lastly, regression has been approved thrice by none other than our newly elected commish, Adwyer. 

Accidents happen and we are all human, mostly, but that doesn't mean ignorance can go unpunished.

Thanks for your excellent detective work though, perhaps you should apply for an updater job so you can police everybody? I know Bovo took over head updater in hopes of it being temporary.  Perhaps you could start some updater training to ensure this doesn't happen in the future.

Fuck that. I am into some masochist stuff but I have to draw a line somewhere. Plus, this is more auditing than updating which is right in my wheelhouse.
