Over the past couple of seasons, the Philadelphia Liberty has taken big steps to become contenders for the Ultimus and while I'm not sure I believe we are quite there yet, you never know what may happen in simulated sports.
It would be an understatement to say that the city of Philly would be happy to win their first championship since the Ultimus Bowl VII. It has been a difficult time since then for fans of the Liberty but they would see that all those years of rebuild and tanking was worth it. What's better than winning a championship with so many players developed by your organization?
I don't picture us having the home turf advantage if we ever reached the Ultimus Bowl so the celebration on the field would be sorta limited but it's still cool to share this moment with fans who came all the way from Philadelphia to see their team in the finals.
The city is no stranger to success in sports but we all know the Liberty is the most popular sport team in Pennsylvania. Therefore, the parade itself would be awesome, with so many people calling in sick to attend. We'd go down Broad Street and celebrate with our fans and families. The city would turn gold and blue for the occasion.
Then I'd wake up.
