Bad weather doesn't scare Andrew Reese. Whenever he throws the ball, someone is bound to catch it. Even if someone from his own team doesn't catch it, someone from the other team will. But in all seriousness, weather is a tough variable to prepare for. Training in Arizona, the team isn't used to a large variety of weather conditions, which makes it tough when traveling. Especially against an opponent like Yellowknife, where it is always snowing. We were very fortunate not to have had to travel there during the S18 regular season. Often, the remedy for snow and rain is to run the ball more and, fortunately, Slim Shady is still able to carry the ball successfully. He's getting older, but Ruff Ruff is on his way up and should be ready to step into his new role as not only RB1 but also best boi. He will help Reese and the rest of the offense combat crazy weather conditions over the course of the next season. We love to pass the ball to guys like Valentine, Oles, and Donut, but when the wind picks up, we can attack on the ground as well. A key to our success has been the ability to avoid becoming one dimensional and a good RB is absolutely necessary for that.
