The Philadelphia Liberty MIGHT beat the Legion in week 7 and will definitely not win another game this season. The discrepancy in talent between the Legion and Liberty has been brought up all season and while there is some truth to the Liberty having better potential for future development it will not be reflected in their record for season 2. Following their winnable game against Legion the Liberty have to host the Wraiths, Outlaws, and SaberCats three solid teams. They also have to travel to Vegas, Yellowknife, Colorado, and Baltimore. Those games are not favorable for Liberty. Sure, you might think they can snatch a win from Legion in Vegas but their offensive line is terrible and Legion is going to pressure them the whole game. The Liberty’s weakness is probably more their defense than offense though, and Legion might be able to finally accomplish something on that side of the ball against this team. Liberty will look better in season 3, even without their first round draft pick, if players keep developing like they are now. However, they will not finish season 2 with more than 2 wins and should be happy if they manage to snag #2. They are a potentially good team in the future, but not in the present. Sorry Liberty, this isn’t your year.
