I can’t believe that yet another season is flying by so quickly. I am excited about where we stand right now in Sarasota, and I think that this season could be another one for the record books for us. I feel like I’m in the prime of my career, and the biggest part of this is my teammates. Every single person on this staff from the top to the bottom have made it possible for me to be where I am today. If I had to single out one teammate that’s made the biggest impact for me, I’d have to say honestly that it’s Tre’Darius J’Vathon. We go way back to when we were playing youth football tournaments across the country when we were kids. We were great friends then, and it made me sad in some ways when we decided to go to different colleges. We always talked about going to the same school to team up when we were kids, but it just never happened. When I learned that there was a chance it could happen in the ISFL, I nearly begged the team’s front office to make the move. I would’ve paid for his Uber to and from the Airport out of my own pocket if they wanted me to. This off-field chemistry has shown itself on the field as we are both now en route to the best statistical season of our careers. The Sailfish are the best thing that could’ve happened to me.
