By your own logic, your OWN point can not be taken seriously. Being aware of bias is important, but so is the ability to determine the value of a suggestion. Suggesting that an idea not be taken seriously due to the person rather than the merit of the idea is an ad hominem fallacy. It is actually less responsible than discounting bias.
The Hawks won FOUR of their seven games by one possession, three by only a field goal. In one of those three games (against the Outlaws), Gibson was the team's leading receiver. I think there is a strong case that Baltimore would have lost that game had it not been for Gibson's extra TPE. Yet despite that, note that I did NOT suggest they be barred from playoffs or that their wins be adjusted. I suggested something more moderate, namely barring their tiebreaker advantage.
