Noble deserves a punishment but something allowing his player to play but with a knock against his build is more desirable than having his player suspended for the season.
So now any person who becomes a FA next year that is currently on the Yeti know that it is the biggest upward battle and might as well join other teams this next off-season. It makes it seem like yes Noble is being suspended but the league is also handicapping one of their franchises for a big chunk of time and that isn't good for growth.
