Sometimes all you want to do post mortem is just relax in a dilapidated shack in the woods, but lately that's become increasingly difficult. With all these crazy white people going to obviously terrifying and sketchy places that used to be havens for ghosts to just hang out, there's really nowhere you can just be dead and alone anymore, ya know? Some of these spirits spend all their lives talking to people that they just frankly don't care about, about things that they don't care about, and now that they're dead they're being screamed at and exorcized by meddling mortals. I mean, come on Susan, you're 450 pounds, what do you care if you're possessed for a night or two, or three ... hundred? I mean, were you actually planning on going anywhere? Likely not.
Evans makes very little doing this sort of work, considering ghosts cannot hold things in their hands, specifically currency. They do, however, promise Evans gifts upon death, which they assure him is coming soon. Very soon.
