How easy is it to create these players and import them at the correct position (instead of the QB -> swap thing).

I think it's what usually happens, IDK why some players didn't have this. Er adds them to the spreadsheet and it all is done automatically in the sim, and they start at their actual positions.

If they have the same name, it'll still say F. North had so many rec yards in S2, even though new Fox won't have the career stats. Also, if we import the players from the spreadsheets, with player IDs in, will it change the position of the players? I guess I'm saying, if we change Fox to TE in the spreadsheet and back, does it remove the Original Position: QB thing?

I understand and I know you do a TON of work for this league, the best of which goes unnoticed. I still just don't think that this can stay like this for any longer than it has, even when it was known before.

Read the article. All players that were created in-game instead of imported are listed as Original Position: QB.

Switching to DDSPF18 won't make a difference. It is a purposeful design by the developers.

It also hasn't been KNOWN before, it really still isn't known. We don't have any hard evidence other than hawk/sweetwater testing a couple seasons. We need rigorous testing with controlled variables before we can be sure. I suspect it is true though
