Inside of Darnell Turner's locker is an absolute madhouse. Starting at the bottom, he has a pile of used socks, at least ten pairs, just laying there. The stench is tremendous, which is why on top of the socks he has four empty cans of air freshener. He uses a can every morning, just taking the lid off and dumping the fragrant liquid all over the socks. From the hanger lies his pee wee football jersey. His previous number, four, hangs directly under a stitching that reads "Titans". The jersey isn't in great shape, with two of the letters on the back falling leaving only T U N R. He claims it reminds him of some of the best times in his life, where the games were fun and he could easily dominate the other children. On the top of his locker lies his lunch box. Turner typically eats healthy food, surviving primarily on a diet of chicken, rice, broccoli, and milk. The bag sits beside a takeout tray he got from a chinese restraunt, with the stench of week old orange chicken filling up the entire locker. He claims he plans to eat it later, however no one knows who'll get to it first-him or the mold.

What does Luke Long have in his locker? A locker is an embodiment of a person’s soul, their core essence. Some people have shrines to football heads, others have shrines to football. Luke Long has a tidy locker, emphasizing his focus and strictness towards football. Like any player he has all of the things you would expect. His pads, cleats, jersey, and helmet are arranged and hanging on their respective hooks and hangers. His shower caddy lies at the bottom, with the handle up for easy access. He has a photo of his family back home in Chicago, an article from his hometown paper when he was picked up by the Las Vegas Legion describing their pride and wishing him luck, a drawing from his little brother of him on the line doing what he does best. But most strangely, he has a photo of the Walker Brothers restaurant’s (a popular establishment in the Chicagoland area) special dish, the apple pancake.
![]() When asked about it he smiles and says he grew up on the food and loved it ever since he was a kid. But his friends and close teammates know the truth. That photo is a reminder of what he needs to do, week in and week out. He needs to be the best, to train harder than he ever has before. To pancake defenders and make sure his quarterback has time to throw the ball. And it doesn’t hurt that every time he gets one, his mom gets one sent to him in Las Vegas, giving him a little taste of home and reminding him what he’s worked so hard for. Written: Must include 200 words. Describe what you've got in your locker other than the normal football gear.
A look in the locker of Tyler Oles reveals a glaring lack of personal items. Oles doesn’t like to keep much in the locker, and besides his equipment none of it relates to football. You won’t find a list of players that went before him, CBs that are graded higher than him, or a list of players he wants to emulate. You won’t find pictures of family, friends, or pets, in fact the emptiness is the most telling thing about the locker. You’ll find two things in his locker, one of which is one of the last items his mom got for him before she passed away. A signed Nick Markakis baseball is this item, in a plastic case. It was a baseball that he got from when Markakis was still on the O’s, as growing up in Baltimore and playing in the outfield in little league Oles always admired Markakis. This ball was a birthday present when Oles was 15, and was given to him only a few months before she passed away suddenly. The other item is an envelope, containing a medal that as sent from an organ donor association as thanks for his mom’s organ donations, even though due to the illness at the time her organs were not able to be used. These 2 items carry a lot of meaning to Oles, and he’s kept them with him for years now, a reminder of the person his mom was and constant motivation to keep him going even through the darkest times he’s faced. When you enter the Yeti's locker room, the lockers all pretty much look the same from the outside. It's not until you open them up that you will be able to distinguish Boss Tweed's locker. The first clue is the smell. Tweed keeps a collection of jerseys from the big games of his career. Currently he has his jerseys from the Yeti's Season 1 Week 1 win over the Wraiths, during which he made his first start and rushed for his current career high of 93 yards, from the Season 1 NSFC Championship game, during which he won his first playoff game and set the current record for rushing yards in a playoff game, and from the Yeti's Season 2 Preseason Week 3 win over the Legion, during which Tweed ran for 100 yards for the first time in his career. The jerseys are a nice monument of Tweed's career, however some of his teammates wish he had washed them before storing them away in his locker. Tweed also has a miniature punching bag in his locker, which he punches for good luck before games. He puts his opponent's logo on the punching bag before each game. On the top shelf of his locker, there is a knight's helmet. He's never explained why he has that helmet in his locker and nobody has ever asked. Tweed's locker may sound a little unusual but it's actually pretty standard compared to some of the other lockers in the NSFL.

I dont get these other guys... lockers all fucked up and messy. My mom always taught me to keep all my shit, wether its my car, room or locker to be clean and tidy. BUT, just because i keep my shit nice and tidy doesnt mean everything in my locker has something to do with football. The one thing I always make sure I have is my lucky underwear. I have worn the same underwear to every single game I have ever started since high school, and I have never gotten injured wearin em. I always make sure I have them in my locker no matter what, so I will always have them on hand when its gameday. I also make sure I have my special bible with me. God has given me these amazing gifts and talents that I will never take for granted, and I make sure to give him glory everytime before I take the field. The last thing I have in my locker that i always make sure is there is the note my late mother gave to me before she passed. I wont tell you what it says, but it is one thing that I cherish more than anything in the entire world, she is the reason that i kept going with football and what I dedicate everything in my life to.

Angus Winchester keeps a bottle of maple syrup in his locker, and no one through out the preseason could figure out why. In the past first season, Angus's locker had been separate, he visible cleared out his public locker, booted the Janitor out of the Janitors closet, and kept the little cupboard under the stairs as his personal space like Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. He would talk with the mice crawling around under there, even name a particularly friendly one Mr. Jingles. Angus has reportedly said it reminds him of his youth in Tennessee.
Anyway, come season Two ownership had convinced Angus to take a more active role as the leader of the offensive line, so Angus moved his locker out into the open, where everyone discovered he keeps a bottle of maple syrup in his locker, and no one through out the preseason could figure out why? In the last preseason game, Angus was perfecting his pancake routine, when he slammed Shaka on over his ass, whipped out the maple syrup from some hidden pocket of his pads, and started drizzling maple syrup all over Shaka's face screaming "IS THERE ANY BLUEBERRIES OR CHOCOLATE CHIPS ON THAT PANCAKE?" Then he stomped off the practice field and into the sunset. @timeconsumer words:212 [img src=\"http://i.imgur.com/lVbzvTH.png\" height=\"200px\" width=\"400px\" /]
What's in Lavelle's locker? Well unlike many NSFL players who have an obsession with Lavelle, Lavelle doesn't have any "list of players he want to be better than " or "rivals panties or car brake lines". No. In fact he doesn't have any personal items in his locker at all, period. Inside his locker often is only his helmet, his game or practice gear and his boots. Lavelle has no interest in petty feuds with other players, on or off the pitch. As soon as Lavelle leaves the pitch, he's done with football until the next time he steps out onto the training pitch. I don't keep any items in my locker because you don't mix business with pleasure, and trust me what I do out there is business. Sure I like to have a little fun outside of the NSFL and occasionally look and see what people are saying about me on social media, but all these rookies and out here calling people out are just looking for an excuse to be relevant. The reason is the moment you put my name into a sentence, it becomes a sentence worth listening to. Finally maybe next time instead of looking into players lockers, you'll look inside of their brain, there you'll find me living rent free for as long as I'm in this league.
A man's locker is often his home away from home. Most players include things like pictures of their wife and kids, parents and even sometimes they have pictures of pets. Marc Spector doesn't have a wife and kids. His father was fairly absent during his childhood and his mother was only there physically, really. Marc was raised more by his nanny than any blood parent. So, safe to say, his locker would be absent of these heartwarming mementos.
Perched on the top shelf, beside where he places his helmet, he has a stuffed animal of Sammy the Owl, Rice's beloved mascot. He owes a lot of his success to the time he spent at the Houston based college, and as a parting gift from his mentor and assistant coach, he was given this plush owl. He values it greatly and as a ritual, he gives him a pat on the head before every game. One thing a fellow teammate, Angus Winchester noticed week 3 of the preseason was that after the game Sammy was turned to face the television, as if he's watching the game as Marc is playing. But he was certain that it wasn't faced that way when he left before the game. How it gets turned seems to be an enigma. On the left wall is a schedule of the Otters season. He has some numbered penciled in beside each game, but what they mean are not readily apparent. One could surmise that they be an estimate of how many tackles, interceptions or pass deflections Marc expects to have that week, but the numbers seem a bit high. Perhaps it could be a projected score? Nobody aside from Marc can truly know the meanings behind these scribblings. Placed on the bottom shelf is an mp3 player connected to a set of wireless earphones. Because he doesn't play his music audibly so all can hear, only a select few know what songs he listens to. As part of his rookie hazing, a teammate, one Bradley Westfield, snuck into his locker and listened to his mp3 player. The validity of Mr. Westfield's claim is to be questioned, but he claimed that there was only one song on the mp3 player, Two Princes by Spin Doctors. It would be hard to fathom that while working out, he listens to one song over and over... forever. Or does he?! Altogether, Marc Spector's locker is quite unassuming at first glance but there's a shroud of mystery to the whole thing. 417 Words @Bwestfield @timeconsumer [div align=center]
