After being passed in the last game of the season for receiving yards, Phelps has definitely circled the game against the Yellowknife Wraiths this pre-season, where he can go head to head with the "so called" number one wide receiver in the league, Josh Garden. Robert Phelps had a fantastic first pre-season game against the Hawks, despite his team losing the game, Phelps was the offensive player of the game after receiving 8 catches for 110 yards and 1 touchdown. If everything goes according to plan, Phelps hopes to carry that momentum forward through to week 3 of pre-season, where he can match up head to head with his rival in receiving numbers from last season. Both players have trained hard in the off-season and seem ready to get at it here in season 2. By some accounts, Garden has got himself into a bit of better shape than Phelps, his speed and agility are said to be top notch coming into this years. Maybe Phelps' ability to hold onto catches will be enough to put him a step above, but at this point it seems unlikely that Phelps will be able to keep up the way he did last season.

The most hype match of the pre-season, by far, is the Legion vs the Hawks. Why? Because it's the two most talked about rookies in the league, who've already established a rivalry of their own, facing off head-to-head as starting running backs for their respective teams. Who are they? Ardie Savea and Darlane Farlane. The only two starting rookie running backs in the NSFL. Savea has one of the highest (if not the highest) TPE counts of all S2 rookies, while Farlane is among the fastest players in the class. They've already made a bet before going into the season, a whopping $2million each, over who will have more rushing yards on the year. The sum is huge for any players, but it's especially significant for two rookies, when it's equivalent to their first year salary. They will have to hunker down and do a lot of extra work to make up the money, since what could usually be spent has already gone toward a bet and won't be fulfilled until after the season. It will be interesting to see what happens this coming season - the Hawks have greatly improved their O-line an offense as a whole, so Farlane's speed-attack rushing style will be beastly in that mix. Savea is with a brand new team, but his raw skills should carry the load. Let's see how it plays out.

I'm going to be honest, I'm not really too excited to verse anyone this Pre-Season. I'm honestly just using the Pre-Season to load up on TPE and prepare myself for the regular season; the season which really matters. Still, if I had to pick who I am excited to see I would say all of the Quarterbacks. I want to see how good I am at disrupting all of the Quarterbacks the outlaws verse. That is why I was so happy to see we defeated Ethan Hunt and Noble. They are top Quarterbacks in my opinion and we still had the ability to take them down.
Secondly, I am excited to see how the rookies get acclimated to the sim. I really want to see how the S1 players have grown in comparison to the rookies. This will show us how high our archtypes ceiling is, how low our floor was, and the best rookie setup. Lastly, I really want to see how my Outlaws ![]() Still, it's great to be seeing some new simmed games and I can't wait until we take the league by storm once again! ![]() [div align=\"center\"]

There are a lot of interesting teams in the NSFL and they are all going to fun and unique games in their own ways but the one team I'm most excited to play against is the Las Vegas Legion. I mean who wouldn't want to have to spend a bit of time in Vegas? We probably won't get much of a chance to enjoy the nightlife much but it would still be an amazing experience. They have a beautiful state of the art stadium and their fans are going to be absolutely pumped to have an NSFL team in their city. Vegas has a way of making everything fun and I think they are going to do a good job at making games there just that: fun. It'll be really interesting to see how they hold up in their first pre season and season in the NSFL too. Their GM made quite a few moves before the draft to bring in some franchise players off the bat. If their draft picks work out, they could be a very competitive team as early as this season. I can't wait to see where they are at but I know we can't take them lightly. Even if it's just a pre season game, it's some of their first few games as a team so they are going to be working hard and trying their best to outplay us. It won't feel like a pre season game and thats just the kind of warm up we need before the regular season.

This past off-season and even into last years playoff run I was called "Lazy" by a former teammate. This is a former teammate who had a beef because for some reason he thought he ran the team. Little did the teammate know, not a single person on the team cared for his antics. So the Arizona Outlaws management shipped him off.
Stormblessed was that player and his new General Manager has a beef with me because he holds petty high school beef that way. I'm most excited to face that team and just show what a "lazy" player can do on the field. I'm looking to have a good campaign and a big game versus that team would be great. I honestly can't remember the team because my shiny ring is blinding me a little right now. It should be a fun year as our roster has gotten better over the off-season and we seem to be coming together. We have a talented secondary again and our running backs are some of the best this league has seen. I'm really excited to catch the ball this year on the offensive side of the field. My lazy self will look to destroy teams and hopefully start off positive. ![]() ![]()
I am most excited to face the Las Vegas legion. We are on a level playing field as we are both brand new expansion teams and it can be an exciting game. Mainly to pad stats because we are both so bad. Here is the problem this pre season. Both teams got played like hot garbage so the first match up is automatically erased because the sim decided to play bots instead of active players. Our QB was not being played and our to WR was not being played. So when fox north our Kroetch was on the field it was for like 3 plays and then we sat the rest of the game. So in reality even though we win that game it's a write off because the sim was hot garbage. Super exciting match up would also be up against the epic otters or the Arizona outlaws. The champions would be a great match up to see. Either we get destroyed or we get absolutely lucky and pull a win against the champions. We have to train hard this pre season and hopefully the sim won't be hot garbage from now on and the sim will actually see how our players actually play. So our gms know what to do and see what plays work and what does not. In conclusion the vegas and outlaws would be the most hype to play against. Let's gooo Liberty

To be the best, you have to beat the best. That's the standard, and despite the accusations against me of not following them, I do follow that one. Next week, we'll find out if I can meet that standard.
Break Bottles was the third-highest in the league for receiving yards, and all that despite being on a San Jose team that ranked among the worst in the league in passing. There were rumors that his efforts on the practice field have been lacking, but I don't believe it. The media loves to generate stories about discord and locker room complications. Trust me on this one, I've already seen a lot of it in a very short time. What the media hasn't been talking about much is that Bottles has racked up TWELVE receptions in just two preseason games. If he plays at that rate in the regular season, he would have the most receptions of anyone from season one. Notice I did not say he would lead all tight ends. He would lead EVERYONE. On top of that, half of those receptions, along with a touchdown, came against the Ultimus Champion Arizona Outlaws. Screw the reports. This guy is the real deal. Next week, we’ll find out if I am as well. ![]()
The player I’m most excited to watch is A. JugsmachineBot. I don’t know what they’re feeding that thing, but the dude can take a sack. In just two games it has racked up a total of 20 sacks. That includes 14, yes FOURTEEN sacks in a single game against the Liberty.
If you’re not impressed and thinking it has got to pump those numbers up. Those are rookie numbers in this racket. Consider that Legion starter J. Bercovici stole a good series or two in both games. Following Bercovici’s performance he was seen on the sideline eating chicken fingers and counting a wad of cash. But let’s get back to the star of this show. Now if you missed the game you might look at the stack sheet and wonder, what’s wrong with this bot does he have a tripod for legs? And while the answer to that question is yes, Jugsmachinebot’s problems weren’t in its mobility in the pocket. Somehow, a machine designed to literally shoot footballs at people often found itself holding the ball for too long. Some say it’s actually still scrambling in the pocket now, holding the ball and moving back and forth in the back field. [div align=\"center\"]
