An unusual fact, but Ryan Applehort was actually a holder only in his freshman year. Each day, after practice, under coach supervision, he'd work on receiving long snaps and setting them. His special teams coach, Marvin Maxx Munchen "Mad Max" Musthe Millon would watch him and give him pointers. It wasn't easy for Applehort, watching the crappy senior quarterback in front of him, Knock Pier No start in front of him, but he made sure that the coaches would all see his hustle. That freshman year, Applehort seriously considered being a special teams guy, since he was putting a lot of time into these drills and got some snaps at long snapper as well. It wasn't easy work for Applehort. Maxx Munchen Musthe Millon would drill him all practice, taking him to a corner of the field to work with him alone. His hands got beat up, bruised and blistered after every practice. But eventually, he became the best holder in the league. During the Fort Worth HS championship game, he actually caught a snap that was eight feet off the ground, set it down perfectly, laces away, and set it down for the kick. It was good, and his team was crowned champions.

What if I could change something about my game? I don't know, I'm still young and improving but if I had to choose, it'd probably be my overall strength. I've been emulating my game off of hall of fame safety Brian Dawkins since I was little and the way that guy could hit an opposing receiver was scary. Since getting into the DSFL, the size and power difference of the players here compared to at college is crazy. Everyone can run and block and make plays. Obviously, there's another gap in the jump from DSFL to the NSFL so I'll need to stay working hard and hitting the weight room if I want to get to the top. Nothing is more embarrassing in my mind than when a defender gets completely run over in an open field 1-on-1 by a receiver or halfback. As the last line on the defense, I really don't plan on having that happen to me too many times in my career. So while I'm in the developmental league, this is my time to fill out my 6'2" frame, get strong, and be the type of defensive player that the opposing players have nightmares about the night before gameday.
When thinking of how to improve Avon Blocksdale I would 100% revert back to how things used to be for Quarterbacks. Avon would definitely be better if he could have 100 accuracy instead of 95. That's how pocket passers used to be and then when crooked Timeconsumer nerfed pocket passers it somehow only hurt Avon and helped Mike Boss. Avon is definitely a top 3 QB in the NSFL however he has at times struggled a tad with accuracy. Though he has the highest QB rating of all time in the NSFL, and is up there in career leaders for yards and touchdowns inspite of having less attempts than other people, Avon wants to keep improving. Right now, he cannot improve his arm, accuracy or intelligence, and all he can do is trying to keep his endurance up.
Right now Avon has one of the best receiving cores in the NSFL with Budda Browning added to the amazing duo of Trey Willie and Alexandre LeClair. In addition to those three AVon has the best running back in the league, Owen Taylor, and also has the amazing rookie Verso L'Alto. S8 and 9 are very important to the Hawks window and Avon wants to stay on top for as long as he can. 212
What would Dean Jackson change about his game... that's a great question for the average football player, but one that is easy while simultaneously complex for a kicker and punter, as Jackson is. Obviously, I could say that Jackson could've chosen to not be a kicker. Imagine if I was a top earner at quarterback, runningback, safety, etc. But, I'm glad that I chose kicker / punter, and that's not what I would change. I could choose to have put less TPE into intelligence, which we now know has no affect on kicker performance, and instead maxed out my kicking stats (of accuracy and power) sooner than I did. However, even if that TPE was spent wastefully, at least it fits my character I've created a bit; he's supposed to be a smart fella who happened upon football, not a dunderhead. I could change where Dean Jackson is from, but why would I want to? It worked out perfectly: he was drafted by and is playing for his hometown (Phoenix) team: the Arizona Outlaws. So, I suppose I wouldn't change much about Jackson's game. If I could choose to make him miss less I would, but that's less about changing Jackson himself and more about changing the sims, so I don't think that's something I could propose in the spirit of this point task. I'm now well over 200 words, so my rambling ends... now

One thing i want to change about my game as a RB is my agility. Right now, I play both RB and WR. I'm pretty fast - 81 speed - which allows me to get past the first level of the defense. However, despite plenty of carries, I have a mediocre 4.4 average yards per carry. I like my receiving stats at least in the one game that I played significant WR time. When you look at the top RBs, you see that a lot of them are more agile than I. Because of my dual position playing, agility is doubly important. It'll help me get past the LBs and safeties to break off longer runs, which is something I need to do, and also break better runs to the outside which is something I know has been lacking from my game so far. Adding my agility will also allow me to break open from the WR slot better and quicker. I'll be hitting the ladders soon, in hopes that I'll be able to consistently greak between the gaps, better avoid the OLBs, and beat CBs. I have a unique role in the KC offense and it will require me to be more agile.

Eric Kennedy has already been through several changes in his career. It’s been a long path with a lot of twists and turns. He started out as a power running back and was drafted by the Yellowkinfe Wraiths in S2 to function as a Fullback for their lead back Bubba Nuck. Within the next few seasons, he began to transition into a receiving back role and begin a multi-purpose offensive player, even putting together a record-breaking season in S5. In S6, he took on a traditional RB1 role, but his calling was always in the receiving game and, in getting ready for S7, he made the official switch to Wide Receiver and never looked back.
The following offseason was difficult, but he went under some amazing changes. He walked into the S7 season with higher speed and agility than ever before. Compared to his Fullback days, he might always be unrecognizable. This is a player that’s undergone a lot of changes throughout his career and one can only imagine what more is in store for this dynamic player. With regression just around the corner, ti’s going to be time for Kennedy to get creative, but he’s gotten by so far and odds are that he’s going to find a way to stick around for the long haul. 217 Words
What would I change? I would change my activity level man. After I was drafted I missed a bunch of PTs and weekly trainings and I still kinda am...I really wish I could have reached my full WR1 potential but now that Howard Miller is starting to outpace me that chance is kind of gone, and with it DA's HOF chances. I still think he will be a top 5 receiver at some point in his career for a few seasons, but playing with young QBs to kickstart my career and then not being active has really hurt my stats big time. Perhaps if DA plays a very long career and has a couple amazing seasons he could crack into the all time records a little bit and make a run at Hall of Fame, but overall I just got really burnt out by the league and becoming GM. If I could truly go back and do it all over again, I think I would rather play somewhere besides Colorado or NOLA for 2 seasons and then go back to Colorado, just so DA had a bit better stats before the Applehort era began. I would also really want to maintain my activity that I had back in Portland. I hope this counts for a what if and I get my tpe...
If there was one thing I could change about Brad Pennington, it would be his height and weight. The thought in the league is that most positions should be maxed out in both height and weight. I went with a reasonable height and weight that could play in the NFL, so I am left to wonder if he would be any better at the maximum height and weight. This is probably a moot point since the sim is ultimately random and stats probably matter more than the intangibles to a particular degree. A 6'8'' quarterback is a little bit ridiculous in my opinion, but this league isn't exactly based on real physics and how football is actually played. I don't think anyone has ever created a quarterback with the max height and weight, but I may be wrong on that. The effects of the maximum might be less evident than if you were a 5'10'' quarterback who weighs somewhere around 190 pounds. The sim has a wide variety of issues, although the one thing it might get right is that undersized players generally have less success than their larger peers. Height and weight could simply be a contributing factor in success that doesn't matter too much.

I don't think there's anything I would have changed in terms of build with Tweed. Although looking back, I wonder what would have happened if I had chosen a different position when creating Tweed. In hindsight, running back wasn't a great position for him. For most of his career as a running back, rushing stats in the league were not very good before the sliders were applied so the running game was not very good. Running back has developed a reputation as a less important position due to the importance of the passing game and the fact that there is sometimes little statistical separation between high TPE running backs and low TPE running backs. Tweed never won a positional award as a running back despite being the highest TPE running back for 5 of his seasons and only had one playoff appearance as a running back. I wonder if I had chosen a different position when creating Tweed, would his career have gone differently? Perhaps he would have won more awards or if he was a high TPE player at a higher impact position he would have helped his team more and had more success. I'm not sure how much would change, but it's interesting to wonder if Tweed would have had more success if he had chosen a different position from the start.

If I could make one change to my game and my strengths as a player, it would be to focus on speed sooner. With that said, I’m still happy to have maxed my speed early in only my second season in the NSFL. But I feel that if I hadn’t thought that I needed to build up a bit of strength in order to be an effective receiver in the league, or that I had to have crazy agility to be able to dance around guys out in the open field, and instead just focused on blowing past guys and running deep routes, some of my numbers could have been better both in the DSFL and in my rookie season. I mean, only two touchdowns combined between a season in the DSFL and the NSFL is pretty weak, regardless of the teams I play on. Now that my speed is up, I’ve already got two touchdowns on the season – equal to my career regular season total across both leagues to that point – and look ready to score more. In fact, I was even the league leader in YPC for a little while. I wonder if I could have nabbed the OROY award if I’d just been that little bit faster…
