Spector makes his first public appearance in over a season. Cameras flash and reporters barrage him with questions.
Marc... Marc... Los Angeles Times. You've been quiet as of late. Is there a reason you've been so reclusive? Yes. Care to elaborate? Sure. Several seconds pass of dead silence. Again the reporter speaks. So... tell us why you've been so quiet. Well. Been thinking about stuff. There's a lot going on in the world. i'm just a football player. I could be doing so much more. When I see we got kids shooting kids in schools, kids starving in our country, kids being torn from their parents at the border. I'm just sick of this crap. How does that relate to you being so quiet? I just figure, whatever I got to say about the NSFL, Otters or whatever, it don't mean anything. It ain't important. You know? Thousands of kids are suffering from depression and battling thoughts of suicide. Juvenile Diabetes is on the rise. Whatever happens on this field doesn't matter to the real problems in this country. Unless it makes a difference in the world we live in, everything else is trivial. A few reporters try to ask questions. One speaks louder than the rest. What does this mean going forward? Means I'm gonna be helping. I'm not gonna sit here idly while there's so much going on in this world that's screwed up. I'll donate money and time to help where i can. I'm going to make a difference. Not just as a potential role model on the field, but where it matters. I'm going to the hospitals and visiting children who are afflicted with diseases. I'm going to food pantries with boxes of food and supplies. I'm going to be speaking at schools about gun violence and depression. I'm going to get active. And I encourage all my fellow athletes to follow me in this. We can make a difference. Spector walks away from the microphone and off stage, leaving the room. (346 words) [div align=center]

I have to say, the Carlito Crush experience at wide receiver for the Orange County Otters has been everything I’ve dreamed of since I joined the league 4 seasons ago. First off, we’re winning. Being 7-3 is something that I never thought I’d naturally take for granted, but after those rough years in Colorado, it’s huge. (Also, shout out to the Yeti for a badass season so far!) Secondly, Crush is currently 58 catches for 862 yards and 3 TDs. Now, those aren’t insane numbers, but for Crush it feels like the best season in the world. When I hit free agency, I wanted to play WR and I wanted to win. OCO is proving to be the right choice as we’re currently in line to make the playoffs, and hopefully the Ultimus yet again. The only thing is that this time, we’re going to win it, and Crush will be a big reason why. (155)

Eli Kamaka was recently interviewed from NSFLN about the recent trade to the Colorado Yeti from the Philadelphia Liberty. During a brief press conference with the team's owners and general managers, Kamaka fielded many questions ranging from this thoughts on going from Philadelphia to Colorado, his fit with the new team, and plans for the future.
"Philadelphia was where I thought I'd spend my entire career, but you never know what the future holds. There was a lot of uncertainty going into this season as we weren't favorites to win the Ultimus last season so it really took us by surprise. In the end, I knew that a trade out of Philadelphia would help kick start the rebuild that the team was planning and it'll give me a chance to help the Yeti compete in the cut throat NSFC dvision. I'm excited about playing for my new team and looking forward to what the future holds next season with this young roster of great talent."
Gus T.T. Showbiz approaches the podium for his media day segment. Showbiz starts the conference talking about the team playoff chances. The Kansas City Coyotes are looking strong at the Week 10 mark in the DSFL. The Coyotes are sitting with a two game lead in their division at 6-4, while the Portland Pythons and Norfolk Seawolves are both sitting at 4-6.
Gus T.T. Showbiz and the Coyotes have their work cut out for them while looking towards playoffs. They currently trail the San Antonio Marshals by a single game for regular season champion, with the Tijuana Luchadores tied with the Coyotes at 6-4. If the Coyotes manage to make it to the championship game, there is a solid chance they will have to play it on the road, which could make it more difficult. Showbiz will have to continue showing improvement as he has been in recent weeks in order to carry the Coyotes to the championship. Afterwards, the budding rivalry with Marshals' QB Kevin Fitzpatrick is mentioned, with Showbiz showing that he has now taken the lead in QBR, but still trails heavily in yards. The Coyotes attack is a lot of short quick passes, but Showbiz is hoping to rack up more yards. [div align=center]

Yo, what's up people? Give me any chance to talk about my team and I will. This season easily my favorite to this point, although that's probably not that hard since this will only be my second year at the professional ranks. I think we've got easily one of the best defensive groups that has ever been built in the history of the DSFL. We're clicking on all cylinders and we're kicking ass and taking names. Up front you got me and pair me with the Cabero twins and then throw in some of our linebackers occasionally blitzing, most notably Ben Urlacher and you set up a nightmare scenario for opposing quarterbacks. What this has allowed though is for our defensive backs to get quarterbacks who are rushing their throws and their timing is off, this sets up Ludvig, Barnes, and Winter for pick 6's for days. Basically we've got everything you need to carry an offense to a championship and while we've got some studs on offense, I think our defense is the backbone to our entire team.

I'm thrilled to sit down here with the media today and finally speak to everyone after a busy week. The Luchadores have had a lot of games thus far but I'm obviously very thrilled with our performance as we're 6-4 and sitting in a playoff spot. We've had some good wins and some very close losses and I think we're in a good spot going forward to make playoffs and make some noise. As far as my individual performance, I've been fairly happy with it so far. I'm leading the team with 651 yards and 3 TDs. While I'd always love to be better I think I've done decent for a rookie season and I'm happy with that. Going forward I think I've proved I deserve a bigger role in the offense and if given that chance I should shine. At the end of the day though it doesn't matter how well I do but how well the team does. The end goal is always a championship. Thanks for having me today.
