Yeah, I'm considering asking the bankers to take 1M out of the account for each user and hold it in a particular place until the end of the season. That way we can be sure that everyone has the money and the money gets distributed when its supposed to.

This is the process for all bets. This is why you have to have the money in your account when the bet is placed. Money is withdrawn from all parties account when bet is placed and paid out once bet parameters have been satisfied.

Also, you can't go negative in the bank to place a bet so make sure all participants have money in their accounts.
