4) That being said, even if it *was* an IA contract, the outcome would not change. His ISFL team still owns his rights (albeit as an inactive player), and they could call him up as an IA player.

Rule II. E. 3 states "Contract offers to inactive players must be marked as 'IA' when posting and must be only 1 season in length. When 48 hours has passed since posting the IA offer, the contract is considered accepted and will be processed."

Rule II. E. 5 states "Inactive players cannot be signed to contracts longer than 1 season in length."

The contract was signed for three seasons, S24 to S26. So if it was an IA contract, then the contract would be illegal/would expire at the end of S24, right? Or am I misinterpreting?
